Our corner lot is awesome. Neighbors on the back are not close and our front and side lawns are huge. The only drawback I see is that front, sides and most of back yard has to be well groomed as almost all is visible. Had a corner lot before in another house and I loved it too.

Not on DCL, but my retired parents see the same people over and over on their cruises. They made great friends with one couple from another state. They now vacation together to other places and make several weeklong visits a year to each others home. I like to tease them about the weirdness...

Pelham's fine. There is a Holiday Inn Express and a Hampton with dinning close by. If your open to other areas, I would recommend Renaissance at Ross Bridge. There is also an Embassy in Homewood.

If I'm reading correctly, there were some black out dates at the end of 2014. We're going Dec. 5th - 10th and it looks like that time and some other times were blacked out as well in 2014.

I know what the lobby needs. Has anyone ever been to Pat O'Brien's in NO? In the courtyard they have a fire and water fountain. Remove that pile of rocks and add a big fire and water element. Put the tiki on top and we're good to go! Other than the rock pile I think everything else looks nice.

The biggest difference for us was the size of the room and the beds. We had 2 adults and a toddler is an All Star room and it seemed very cramped. Last time we stayed comfortably at CSR with 2 adults a teen and an 8 year old.
