Just spent the past week in Pigeon Forge, TN @Dollywood! What a amazing trip. I will admit that I was not onboard at first but was convinced by DIL! We went to Busch Gardens back in 2005 had perfect weather until the mid afternoon and then torrential downpour.:crazy2:

The café right outside the front gate. Make sure to order their signature Rhubarb Pie! YUM! it's been a tradition of ours when we took the kids to knots when they were growing up. Have Funpixiedust:

wdw has a better Halloween celebration. We've done both DLR and WDW with the grandkids. And we all agreed we had a better time at DW

I honestly still think the best resort is the original Disneyland hotel. It's close enough and has the convenient walkway into DD. Although If I wanted to break the bank I would stay at GC but the prices for a weekend are sometimes completely laughable.

It's great for vacations in the park discounts on souvenirs. Every little bit helps. Especially @ Disney :rotfl:

My daughter had matching shirts made for the family reunion trip 2years ago to WDW. she used vista print they were reasonably priced and arrived fairly quickly:laundy:

LM rooms are too far. Pop resorts are great a great value and the buses run continulsly:thumbsup2

My husband Cal and I stayed at Gaylord back in 2003. It just wasn't our style and was really to far from Disney to satisfy all of our trip needs. We spent more time shleping back and forth More trouble than it was worth, we prefer to stay @ Disney and use the bus transportation. No hassle!

The kiddos tend to get very tired because of all the excitement so keep the stroller handy.

Looking forward to a great trip with the Grandkids in May only been to Disney this will be our first trip to Seaworld
