    Arthritis Help!

I didn't even know I had it until our trip last August. I suffered so much during that trip that there were days I just wanted to sit in the room. However I pushed through because it was our first trip in 5 years (that last trip was just a quick trip that was 3 days long and one of those was...

    Finger Scan--curled/arthritis hands/fingers

There were times when we went throught he gates that they never asked to have my finger scanned. I was pushing the stroller with DS in it. We had KTTW cards.

The Wilderness Lodge FAQ (Part 6) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY!

Do you mean the regular rooms or the club level rooms? Our room did not have robes. We were on the 5th floor with a courtyard view (2 queen beds, no bunk beds).

    WL laundry

We did a couple of loads of laundry while we were there last August. We had stopped at a store before we checked in to buy laundry soap. I don't remember what time we put the clothes in but it was busy...when we went in to the laudnry room all the dryers were going and all but three of the...

Just Upgraded to Wilderness Lodge- Help me get excited!!

The WL was the first Disney resort we've stayed at. It's absolutely beautiful!! I might have a very hard time staying another resort when we go back. I'll never forget the feeling I got when we were driving up to it. And then when we stepped foot into the lobby. It was amazing!!!

    Anyone been with Rheumatoid Arthritis

Thank you for the information. Our kids are currently 3 and 1. Therefore the bunk beds would probably be out for a few more years. Our jogger can be folded but it still takes up a fair amount of room. We probably won't be taking it again and will go with a smaller stroller but still one...

    Anyone been with Rheumatoid Arthritis

Thank you. I'll probably take you up on sending you a PM soon. I had considering getting a GAC as well. I had also considered buying a pair of crocs for our next trip as well. I know all too well about the fatigue. It's my biggest issue along with the pain right now. Thankfully I could...

    Wilderness Lodge Transportation?

We had the same problem with the boats coming back from MK after Wishes in late August. We did have to wait almost an hour for the buses coming back from DHS and AK. So the next time we went to those parks we drove. Much easier. The resort is absolutely wonderful!! We'll most likely stay...

    Resort Pools Questions??

To my knowledge the only pools that can be shared are those at POR/POFQ as they are sister resorts. And the All-Stars pools can be used by guests staying at any of those resorts. We've only stayed on site once (in 3 trips) so the only pool we've experienced has been the one at WL. We enjoyed...

Standard Room At The Wilderness Lodge

I understand now. Prices were for club level. That makes sense now. We had a 5th floor courtyard view. Absolutely loved it! And can't wait to go back.

    Anyone been with Rheumatoid Arthritis

SueM ~ Thank you. I'll check out both the link to the previous fibro thread plus the more recent one. I need to read through the current one. I had previously just skimmed over it. After our trip this year I know that having to deal with the pain and having to stop every so often didn't...

    Anyone been with Rheumatoid Arthritis

My doctor thought I had fibromyalgia but now believes I have the beginnings of RA. So it's looking like the next time we go back I'll need some help. I knew after our trip this year that would most likely be how things would go. I had so much trouble walking. I pushed myself to continue each...

    Anyone been with Fibromyalgia?

Turns out that my doctor now believes that I don't have fibro but the early stages of RA.

That's correct. I hope you were able to get it all straightened out before leaving.

Wilderness Lodge or Coronado Springs Resort?

Never stayed CSR but we absolutely love WL. In fact I have a feeling we'll have a hard decision about staying at another resort when we go back. We walked in to the lobby and it was just a WOW from all of the adults.

Standard Room At The Wilderness Lodge

Is $435 reg season the charge per night? If so, then I think someone is pulling your leg. We didn't pay anywhere near that per night for our room and we had a courtyard view this year.

Akl Or Wl 1st Trip With Toddlers

We decided to stay WL this time. Having the boat to MK was very nice. Especially with a 3 and 1 year old. We knew that we'd be at MK more than the other parks so that helped make our decision easier. DH wants to stay at AKL one time but it will be a tough decision because the WL was...

    Wilderness Lodge Laundry

It was $4 to wash and dry per load when we used them in August. Try to wash during an off time otherwise you might be waiting for a machine to open up. And definitely take enough quarters. We bought our own detergent after we arrived in Orlando.

    here we go

We went our two kids this year. Our youngest was 18 months during the trip. Definitely bring your own stroller (it saves money by not having to rent one plus you can use it outside the parks). Schedule some time back at the resort each day. Although when DS got tired he is known to just fall...

    Almost tall enough to ride

I would never put anything in my children's shoes to make them taller in order to be tall enough to go on a ride. There are reasons there are height restrictions on the rides. Making them taller (by putting things in their shoes, having taller shoes, etc) to me is putting my child at risk and...
