    Parents that Drive

We're from NY, but recently moved to FL. We did the drive quite a few times if we didn't fly. After every trip, I swore we would never do it again, lol. We drove straight through last summer when we were coming down searching for an area to move to....but for disney trips, we always stopped...

    Beaches near Disney

We live about 80 mins or so from Disney, on the east coast. When searching for the right place for us to move to, we preferred the east coast over the west. However, Clearwater beach is beautiful on the west coast. A little too congested for us, but the sand is like baby powder. We found the...

Child Swap - The best tool ever.

Yes we love it! Took us a couple times to realize we should do it that way....splitting up the FPs and using the child swap for the rest....duh, lol. But, yeah works out great. :)

    Fantasmic

I LOVE Fantasmic! Unfortunately we missed it last year when we brought my MIL because it was so cold, we left HS early. So its been a couple years since we've seen it. I haven't heard it has changed. He's 15, I wouldn't make him go.

New Mom Advice Needed!!! Formula Feeding in Disney!

I'm a breastfeeding mom, so I can't give really too much advice. I can't imagine having to deal with formula on vacation, lol. There's babycare centers at all the parks that are nice. I happened to go in there once, just to check it out. You could order food from garden grocer, I'm assuming they...

    Disney Springs for young family

We don't care for DS, especially now that they've added way too much. There's a big disney store there which is nice. T-rex and Rainforest Cafe are good/fun places to eat and the lego store...that's about all we go for, if we do. Have fun!

Umbrella / lightweight Stroller recommendations for 4 month old

I baby wear at that age. Much easier than having to deal with a stroller. However, if you're set on a stroller...a 4 month old isn't old enough for an umbrella stroller. You could rent a stroller. We've rented from magic strollers or kingdom strollers. They're nice...fold easy, push easy, and...

Go at almost 3 or just turned 3?

I would definitely go while she's free. Our 1st trip was March, way back in 2006 but I remember the weather being decent. It got a little chilly at night but the crowds weren't too bad (except for our last day, which was a Saturday). Have fun planning! :)

    Oct 2017 vs May 2018

I've never been to Disney in October, so I can't comment on the weather. I do know that May was super hot when we went a few years ago. 1 plus about October that May doesn't have is the decorations. I can't wait to go during fall! However, with that said....I would go in May since that's when...

Disney Springs worth it for kids?

We don't like DS....especially now that it has expanded. It's a lot of shops, restaurants and it's just too big (and expensive). If you do go, Rainforest Cafe and T-rex is worth it though.

February Trip with a 14 month old

Every family is different but we've never left the parks for a break. If it's cheaper adding an extra day, then that's what I would do. Park hopping is great but it is a little expensive and kind of a pain, especially with kids.

    Just arrived..stroller in bad shape..

We had never used them because of bad reviews. I would definitely call!

    Traveling with others

Our 2nd trip, we took my younger sister, she was 26 and my brother, he was 18. We spent the first couple days waiting and waiting on them. Finally we just said heck with it, meet us at the park. They didn't have kids, and didn't care that you HAVE to get there when the park opens. So most of the...

    Stroller help

I have no idea what strollers you're talking about since I babywear when kids are young, so I only have a simple umbrella stroller that MIL bought. We've rented from kingdom strollers, either single or double depending on the ages. They're nice....fold really easily and push/turn like nothing...

To those who don't know...(concerning BOG)

Yeah it was a little surprise. 2 years? I'm behind times, lol. Last time hubby and I ate there was 2015, we went without reservations. I totally understand why they are doing it that way though....just wish I would've known. Oh well. :)

To those who don't know...(concerning BOG)

You have to make reservations for lunch AND dinner. We went to MK yesterday with plans on eating at BOG for lunch. There's now a booth set up before the bridge for those to check in. This may be nothing new, it has just been a couple years since we've ate there...well, have tried to eat there...

Panicking - Booked trip for November, just found out wife is pregnant

The youngest we've taken is when #3 was 4 months old. I personally wouldn't take an 8 week old...well we live in FL now, so I probably would for the day but not as a vacation. I've seen parents with babies so young that they looked like they stopped at disney on the way home from the hospital...

Should we stay at POP or upgrade to a moderate?

I have always found the beds at the values to be super comfy. We actually prefer QS over TS....simply because we have 4 kids and don't do sit down restaurants very often, Disney isn't an exception. This is one of the things we didn't like about AKL. There's 2 sit down restaurants there, so...

Should we stay at POP or upgrade to a moderate?

I don't have much experience with anything but the values. We stayed at AKL a few years ago and actually missed the values. IMO it's not worth spending more money just for coffee. You could go to the food court and get coffee there.

    AP or Not?

Memory Maker is included with an AP?? I had no idea. Oh and it's $20 for parking.
