We are soooo excited to do this!!!!!
Let me get this straight. We can only get points per item listed. We can't get 2+ points for taking 2+ pictures of different kangaroos right???? The kangaroo picture is only worth 1 point no matter how many kangaroo pictures we take. Thank you for putting this together. It will be a great activity to do with the whole family. Thank you Thank you Thank you:worship:

Luvchefmic, love the peppermints, and great interpretation of empty! See, that wasn't too bad, eh?

tsa, correct.

Looks like another reason for a trip to the boardwalk huh? Poor you! :lmao:

Yes, a trip to the boardwalk, but without the kids. I'll have to sneak out one night when DH is home. My work schedule is light now so I might try to get over there tomorrow if it's not raining. I feel a salt water taffy craving coming on! :rotfl:

You guys are going to be sorry you let me play this, My kids and I love this:banana:

Who says it has to be getting off the bus or walking home? Last day of school means you can get it any time today, even if it shows her with a  or an ice pack on her head, right? :rotfl2: Be creative! PS hope she feels better!

Okay, thanks! Her class was supposed to have a beach party this afternoon, but she had to miss it due to strep. She's been sicker today than ever with it. Here she is this afternoon sleeping on the couch while her classmates were having fun with water balloons.

Last day of school!

I copy and paste in an Excel file and got it down to eight pages. Then if you print in one pages at a time front and back I got down to four pages.

I can email to you if you want.

Oh I just had a thought (as weird as that sounds it doesnt happen as often as one would want...)

Would it be easier to keep track of it all if each entrant started their own thread, that way they would all be in their individual groups, then all each poster has to do is edit their original post. They could bump it weekly after they update it. I'msure it will flood the photography board but it certainly would add more action to the forum...

Here's from today.......

I copied and pasted to word in two columns and got it to 4 pages. PM me if you want me to send it to you that way

I'll play with my new camera. Got these last night while I was at my parents for the weekend.

Here's what I found for today:

Adirondak Chairs at our local hardware store

Dog in a car. I luckily had my camera with me from getting all the other shots, when I pulled up behind this guy at a red light and got all excited!

Foot Prints- on the river bank

Island-This is Treasure Island in the middle of the Manasquan River, NJ. It's a popular spot for boaters to drop anchor and go on. On one side there is a pretty big sand bar.

Bouy-I was hoping for a bird but there were none around, not even sea gulls. If I could have gotten some food out on it there would be a sea gull there in no time.

Moving boat-Do we have to be on it moving for it to count as 2 points? If so I'll get that picture later in the summer.

I have it on good authority that the highest number of points one could possibly obtain would be 541.

I was planning to put the words on index cards to easily store in my camera bag (I'll print and cut/tape). I'll use both sides and staple them together and keep track of what I take and what I still need. I'll put some of the shorter lettered categories (like XYZ) on one card.

DaisysDH, I'd like to just keep it all here on one thread. Everyone can track their own points fairly easily, I think.

NateNLogansDad, good showing! (Hopefully someone can answer your horse question!)

Colleen, no, boat moving is worth two. Nice job! Especially love the Shepherd! I also love those adirondacks, wish the store was near me, lol. I spent a lot of time in Atlantic City as a kid. It was a family travel destination and my father had business there as well. A lot of the summery things I envisioned for this assignment came from my memories there (though I also live in a beachy area now). I haven't been to the Boardwalk since the casinos came in, though. I did look up the hotel we used to stay at thinking about a little trip to show the kids, and apparently there was a murder there! :scared1:

NP, it was just a suggestion, if there are 50 participants, who post 1 new photo a day thats 4 new pages to track a day. Didnt know if we were self counting or if there was an official judge. Like I said it was a rare "thought" lol, it might be a long time before the next one pops in to the ol' melon...:teacher:
