Anyone going to watch the royal wedding ?

It's funny how beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I would consider Kate and Meghan more beautiful than Charlene, though she is pretty. Maybe it's the blonde hair, since quite a few Disney Princesses are blonde?

Must be that - in her wedding pictures she looks like a real-life Aurora or Cinderella. And you're totally right about everybody's perception of beauty being different. Charlene of Monaco has classic features and a very regal bearing.

Kate Middleton (to me) is purely adorable - I love her dimples and sparkly blue eyes, and Meghan is more All-American hot chick. Both of them (as was Diana) are way better looking that the actual British royal-bloods. Princess Ann is a fairly unfortunate combination of genetics and The Crown has cast both Elizabeth and Margaret with actors who are far prettier than the real-life ladies ever were.

They are getting married in a chapel that is part of Windsor Castle. It is the same location where Harry’s uncle and aunt, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, were married and where his father, the Prince of Wales, and his second wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, had a marriage blessing performed.

It is a church wedding. The fact that it is smaller has nothing to do with the divorced status of the bride. It is smaller because Prince Harry is not the heir to the heir. He is now 6th in line to the throne.

I am a huge royal watcher of monarchies all over the world. I can recommend some great blogs that blend royal watching, fashion and jewelry as well as highlight the charitable work that many royals do.

And to answer the OP’s question: YES!

Yes- I watched Diana and Charles' wedding and Kate and William's! My dad (20) and I will get up very early and watch with a "breakfast tea" of tea, scones and tea biscuits!

Lots and lots of our ancestors had a severe case of superiority and entitlement and considered Native Americans inferior and had no qualms stealing land and destroying ancestral lands for their own benefit, despite the torture, death and mass genocide of Native tribes. Many of those ancestors also owned people.

So, they're not exactly my moral compass, you know. If it would offend my ancestors that I watched a royal wedding, I'm pretty sure I could live with it. And I say this as someone who has ancestral roots here from the 17th century on my mother's side and 18th on my father's (Hessian mercenaries).

I may try to watch it. Sadly, I wanted to watch Will and Kate's but the tv wouldn't work that day, as luck would have it. I did watch Charles and Diana's as a child.

While I adore Diana's boys, I am NOT fond of Meghan Markle at ALL. I see her as nothing but a social climbing gold digger who manipulated her way into a jackpot. I do not see the marriage lasting either. She is too "I'm going to do it my way because Im a strong woman and a snowflake" to ever succumb to the rules of the Royal family. For Harry's sake, I hope I'm wrong.

I know everyone lashes out at Markle's family for saying mean things about her but lets face it.....there are several in her family who are speaking and saying the same things. Some of it HAS to be true. I mean, its fact that her dad DID file bankruptcy. Its fact that Markle was earning $450,000 per year from Suits. She couldn't help her dad out any at all? Serious? And the fact that she has been obsessed with becoming a Princess all her life? Yeah, this girl calculated her moves and it paid off. She'll pop a baby out within 15 months I'd bet.

I’ll definitely watch. I’ve been following the Royals for the past few months. For some reason, there seems to be a lot of Meghan haters. Why, I do not know. Personally, I like her and think she’s adorable, and she and Harry make a really cute couple.

My DD worked in a PR firm in NYC a few years back and met MM. she was on Suits but not involved with Harry at the time. She said she was a delight to work with ,very sweet and sent my daughter a lovely thank you card when their partnership was complete... I’ll take it that she’s a good person and hope they do live happily ever after...

There's a lot of negativity about her due to her race and her political leanings/causes she supports. Of course few come out and say that so there's just negative stories about her in certain types of publications and news media. People read those things, even if they don't have the underlying biases against her, see these negative stories and view her negatively.
