I will send you a pm about the FE as we are keeping most info private.I would LOVE to be included in a small group..it's our first cruise and my kids would love this !! Is there FB for this sailing as well? Please let me know what I can do to get added to the FE group..thanks..
I can add you to the FE, but we are keeping room #'s private. If you could get your posts up to 10, I can pm you for your room and an email to send the list to. Feel free to post here or http://www.disboards.com/forums/test-board.88/ until you hit 10.Can I please join? We booked last minute but have already made our FE!!
We're family of 3 - Mom, Dad, and little boy. No allergies.
I remember see size restrictions somewhere on the DIS, but I am not seeing them now. Rough guess is no more than 11 inches wide and 2-3 feet long. If you do a search on the net, you will come up with many hits on how to make one or where to buy one though. I will keep looking for size restrictions.Thank you !! I can't wait...I don't mind it's only a few small people, I think it will be more personal for my kiddos that way....Just let me know staterooms when we get them...now to make my FE !! How big do you normally make them?
So I have been asked to post some of the latecomer’s FE info -or anyone’s really- for pixie dust on Voldemort. I would only be posting a room # and using generic info on who is in the room and maybe favorite character if I know it. If anyone is interested or not, please let me know by 10/19 at the latest as one person who would like to pixie dust is going on the Panama Canal cruise first and needs the info before leaving for 3 weeks on the ship (I am way jealous of this!!). You do not have to say yes, and you are not obligated to return a FE. Pixie dust is exactly the way it sounds, someone just wants to add a little something to your FE to make it special. You will probably never know who did it either as these are generally not marked as to who it is from.
Now speaking of tagging your gifts to show who they are from, this is optional for you. Some people do, some don’t. I will because I have such a large number of rooms to deliver to and I need to make sure everybody gets the right thing. You don’t want me to deliver a gift fit for a princess to a prince! It also could have something to do with my OCVPD.
I will send out an updated email, just let me know your new room #. Congrats on getting your daughter on the cruise alsoHello all, GREAT NEWS! My 17 yo DD didn't think she would be able to go on the cruise and was going to stay home, but I was able to push and get her approved to go with her teachers! Yeah! Now I need to add another person to our FE. We have a second stateroom, but we can do the FE in just one stateroom. Our room numbers may change though. Let me know what I need to do to update. Also, if there are any other DD around the 17 yo range please let me know. Maybe she could meet them through FB before the cruise. Can't wait!
It is up to you how many times you want to deliver, but generally it is deliver once and you are done.Do we deliver every day to every one? Sorry first time and i don't want any one to get ripped..
That is great news!!!! I'm glad it was able to be worked out.Hello all, GREAT NEWS! My 17 yo DD didn't think she would be able to go on the cruise and was going to stay home, but I was able to push and get her approved to go with her teachers!
My plan is to put a dry erase board on my door for anyone to write room changes on. The only other option would be for whomever changes rooms to go to everyone on their list and let them know somehow I don't see anybody bringing sticky notes to do it like that though I would say, if you change your room it has to be written on the board on day 1 so everyone has a chance to see it. Wander past my room on Friday night/Saturday morning to make sure all the rooms are correct - and feel free to write something(nice) on the board. Our FE's are finished, tagged, and packed!!! Yeah!
Quick question, and I do apologize if this has already been communicated and I missed it. What about stateroom changes/upgrades at the port? Should we check somewhere before delivering to make sure there hasn't been any last minute changes. Okay, now I'm having deja vu that we have talked about this before, I just can't recall the details. Sheesh, I might be going crazy. October is always our busiest month with activities and high season at work, but to add getting ready for btb cruises also - I think my brain is rebelling, juggling to much right now.
Perfect! and thanks for bearing with my brain cramps! - funny story about a whiteboard on a cabin door, my son loves pirate night so he can pull out his Jack Sparrow imitations - anyway, he went around on put on some whiteboards "You'll always remember this was the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow!" Totally cracked me up!My plan is to put a dry erase board on my door for anyone to write room changes on.
