Do you eat at the same restaurants on every Walt Disney World trip, or do you try new ones each time????
It seems like when we go we always end up at the same restaurants because we know we like them and since we dont get to go too often we miss those restaurants between visits. At the same time though I dont want miss out on better restaurants!!
So what do you do? What are your must do disney restaurants every trip?
For Signature Dining - yes, we eat at same places at/near our Resort(s). We stay at the same places year-after-year. But we've also tried all the Signatures after a bunch of years.
Otherwise, we try to try as many new experiences as we can - as long as they fit out Touring Plan.
But every family (and person) is different.
Some of us enjoy familiarity. Some of us enjoy being different. Some of us can afford ad-on experiences. Some of us look at what we are familiar with and simply become curious about alternatives.
For instance:
-- We like exotic foods so will be going to recently opened Skipper Canteen for our first time instead of family favorite the Plaza.
-- Candlelight Processional package is on our schedule - child thinks Biergarten looks fun (we typically avoid buffets). Child wins.
-- Very much wanting to meet Queen of Hearts and she was part of Club Villain in 2016. Hoping to be able to do this in 2017.
-- We did our best to try as many new eateries in Disney Springs as we could. More have since opened. We are likely to both try something new (Homecoming) and also enjoy a few existing favorites (Ganachery, Vivoli il Gelato....and try a cake from Amorette's Patisserie).
-- Sci-Fi became a 'must-do' after our last vacation.
-- New eatery in AvatarLand will also be a 'must-do'.
On any given trip, any place can become:
a.) one-and-done, b.) never again, c.) let's skip it next time, d.) gotta' come back
But we do have favorites:
-- Sci-Fi
-- BlueZoo
-- Be Our Guest (for dinner)
-- Pretzels, Popcorn & Mickey Bars
