After 25+ trips, we decided on out last trip to switch it up a bit. It was also our first trip since the oh so popular BOG opened, so I wanted to make sure we got there for dinner and breakfast. Worst decision of my life (ok, not worst, but a really bad one!). Im glad I experienced it and got to see inside, and loved meeting Beast, but that is all. Food for both breakfast and lunch was terrible, IMO.
Also tried Sci-Fi instead of my favorite 50's PT at DHS. It was OK. Again, Im glad I experienced the atmosphere. The cheesecake dessert was delicious. I dont think Ill be back anytime soon.
Tried Trails End after reading rave reviews. On top of that, there was not one negative review on the thread I was reading. Ick, gross, blahhhhh. Worst restaurant ever.
Great restaurants Im glad I tried last trip...Via Napoli (dinner), Boma (breakfast) and it has been a long times since going to Les Chefs de France and absolutely loved it.
My go to's -
Character breakfasts. Any and all. Now that my youngest is 13, I have cut back on them for my upcoming trip, but you cant trade a great memory... pictures, autographs and hugs...with better food. Maybe the food isnt super special, but when you are Disney you must dine with Mickey & Friends and a princess or two!
San Angel Inn (Im a mexican food lover to begin with)
50's Prime Time (Lunch)
California Grill (Dinner)
Spirit of Aloha (Dinner)
Grand Floridian Cafe (lunch)
I also always end up at Yak and Yeti. Im glad AK added another TS. Yak and Yeti is OK, but since we have breakfast at Tusker House, our only option for dinner is Y and Y.
