United Vacations ticket offer- same as southwest

there is no disney reservation number on my email
Ugh that stinks-they changed something between yesterday am and today. It was in my 3rd email under the "activities and add ons heading" I copied and pasted what it said (but changed my # to all X)

actually. no worries. they do admit there is a disney number that will be assigned at 60 days out. for some stupid reason I put it as my actual dates which are in january so she said I will get that information 60 days prior (in a week)

Addendum to my earlier question. If I don't get the third email before i am at Disney on Tuesday, can I just take that voucher from United that says to present that at Will Call - and present it at will call to do what I need to do (buy a renewal on APs).

Glad they figured the problem out. It was the same way for those that purchased through SW vacations.

I have purchased these (also missed SW deal due to my hesitancy) and am going to Disney this week where i will use these to renew my annual passes. Should I link to MDE before I go..or just take the vouchers with me to Guest Services to do it all there? Any advantage or disadvantage to linking (I don't want to lose the chance to use for APs)
I don't think that it matters. If you already have it in MDE, you're less likely to lose them than if you have to carry a voucher around, but that's just my personal preference. The CM is going to have to scan your MB anyway in order to link the new AP to your MDE account. I've renewed my AP using a ticket that I had in MDE and no physical ticket. There was no problem getting it done (once I found a CM who would even do it, but that's another story!)

That's what I assumed - There is a chance I may not have that magical third email before I leave home but the email I got from United said to bring that to ticket sales place to claim my tickets so I figure I can do that as well. But if it arrives before I leave, I will link as it may make it easier at the window.

Ok, I just received my 3rd email and it says I need to claim my tickets at will call. No numbers to be able to link to MDE. Can someone provide some detail if they had this issue or how they linked to MDE.
Do you have more than 60 days until the first day of your trip? You won't get a Disney Reservation # for the tickets until you are at least within 60 days of the date you gave for your trip.

Woo hoo. Purchased yesterday around 2 p.m. Email with disney reservation number came moments ago. Already linked to account. Hope to upgrade to Ap renewal tomorrow when I arrive at park.

This was incredibly easy! Took about 24 hours for my email with the confirm #. Its VERY tempting seeing those tickets sitting in my MDE account (we're not going until next Dec)!! Think I need to try and forget about them somehow . . .

Side note - Shopathome gave me 1% back on the purchase. It posted very quickly.

Yes. We are heading down at the beginning of Feb. Hopefully things work out. This is a great deal. Thanks all for your help.

FYI If you saved the offer to your account it should still be there-I bought one ticket Friday but was considering more so I saved the offer. I had read that people who had the offer in their cart were still able to purchase after SW vacations pulled it so I guessed (correctly) that the same would work for United Vacations

Wow, that's good to know for next time!

Got my e-mail and linked my tickets, they say they are six day tickets and I know I had the date range wrong when I bought them so it looks like I didn't have the same problems as others had with getting shorted days.
