There are no balconies in the Adventure Tower. The only tower that has balconies is the Frontier Tower.Did your connecting suite have a balcony by chance?

Ours was in Frontier and it was really nice. We had two balconies! I always think Frontier feels like a far walk, but I think security is over there now, which makes it better. We reserved a 2 bedroom family connecting suite at the DLH. Is there a location or locations we should request? Thanks!
It did not. I’m not positive but I think only Frontier has balconies.Did your connecting suite have a balcony by chance?
This is what I've been told as well. They're all on the top 1 or 2 floors and they're suites. It did not. I’m not positive but I think only Frontier has balconies.
See link below to a map I created plus thread discussion on the two park entrances I think you are asking about.12 days until our first trip to Disneyland and we are staying at the Villas. I've been following and reading the message boards and the one thing I still can't figure out is the best way to enter the parks in the morning. Some time ago, there was some buzz about having a new entry point into the Downtown Disney area for Disneyland Hotel guests that would have a shorter line... did that ever come about? Anyone that can give me some clarity or tips about getting to the parks would be appreciated!
Great image! They re-opened a second DTD entrance near the sorcerer's hat (red circle). The two entrances are very close to each other. If one is crowded, it is easy to go to the other. There is a third entrance on the other side of the former ESPN building (teal circle), but it is out of the way for DLH guests.See link below to a map I created plus thread discussion on the two park entrances I think you are asking about.
It probably will depend on your room configuration.Where's the best place for a crib in a standard view room? Maybe by the window?
I love Disneyland Hotel, especially the headboardsWanted to post here to share my excitement - we are booked at the DLH June 8-12 for our daughter’s first visit and second birthday, and our 15th anniversary!
This is our first on property stay on our own coast. We live in Northern California but used to be DLR locals. We’ve loved the “bubble” experience on our WDW trips, and are SO excited to have that at Disneyland, our first love!
I know the GCH seems to get all the love on these boards, but we’ve always loved the vibe and theming of the DLH more and are thrilled to stay there!
Should we let them know we’re celebrating our daughter’s 2nd birthday? How would we do that? I know at WDW you might get a little magic from the resort if you’re celebrating something.
We usually let them know if there's a birthday or anniversary. Yes, I'd let them know. Walking around the parks with the birthday button, lots of visitors and cast members will acknowledge your birthday. I just wanted to say how nice if that CM! What a fun birthday for your wife!!We usually let them know if there's a birthday or anniversary. Yes, I'd let them know. Walking around the parks with the birthday button, lots of visitors and cast members will acknowledge your birthday. Kinda fun.
Typically when booking online, there use to be a text field asking if you are celebrating anything special. Or perhaps when you're doing the online check in. IDK. It's been a while. Short of that, you can email or call the front desk for the hotel. Lastly, when checking in cast members usually ask if you're celebrating anything. If they forget just mention it to them and they'll enter to the system.
Not sure about the extra magic for a birthday or anniversary at DLR. It does happen but I think it's at the discretion of a cast member. My wife got that for her birthday at DLR. She had the birthday button on and was standing in line for Cars chatting with a cast member. They had a good conversation. Just as she was about the board the ride, the cast member let her know that she had put her name on a list up front for return fast lane passes all day long riding Cars (for two)! Just walked up to the front and gave them her name. It was awesome but totally unexpected!
The 3 bedroom suite we had was the 2 bedroom suite with a connecting door to a 3rd double queen room. You walked in through 2 double doors into an entryway and the living room/bar kitchen area (with a sofa bed) was one way (there was a 1/2 bathroom in there) and then through the living room there was a room with a king bed (and a full bathroom). The other direction out of the entryway was a bedroom with a king bed (and full bathroom) and a pull down single bed. This king room had a connecting door into another bedroom with 2 queen beds (and a full bathroom) so to get to the living room from the queen room you had to go through the king room but that was fine for us. So we had 2 kings, 2 queens, a sofa bed and a pull down bed plus 3.5 bathrooms. We were in the Frontier tower so we had balconies off off the living room and both king rooms though I had my 3 year old and my 5 year old with me so we didn't us the balconies. We thought it worked well for our group. It was my parents (in the king room off the living room), my sister on the sofa bed, my other sister in 1 queen, a friend in the other queen, me in the king (next to the connecting room) and one kid in the king with me and the other on the pull down bed so 6 adults and 2 kids. Technically a lot more people could have been there but my sisters and friend prefer their own beds.Heading to Disneyland Hotel in 14 days. We booked the 3 bedroom family suites. Has anybody booked these before? I would have loved to get the 3 bedroom villas but wasn't available. I am hoping the family suite will be good.
