NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More

What annoyed me the most was that the agent told me even though I "misunderstood" the bonus they were going to give me the $15 as a courtesy. I felt like saying "I'm not the one misunderstanding the situation here"...but I restrained since they say they will issue the credit.
Agree 100 percent. It’s infuriating to have someone just fib to you. I’m hoping it works out, I’ve had no trouble with a ton of prior Target Circle promos.

(PS I meant “called,” iPhone typo.)

I have posted recently about all the problems I had dealing with the Target customer service and their “specialists” when I went to use a $100 DGC at my Disney Resort and was told the card had not been activated. After 3 days of calling the Target customer service and repeatedly explaining my situation I finally tried using the Chat and was finally able to get them to send my case forward. They finally requested a copy of receipt and photos of gift card and after another 2 days they confirm that despite my receipt showing a successful activation the gift card had never been activated. They told me they would refund the $95 and I should destroy card. I finally saw the refund show up after another 3 weeks. So I would suggest going with the Chat for help instead of calling their customer service number.

Apologies if I missed it. Will DGC trigger the $15 Target Circle Bonus? It says many gift cards are excluded. It requires at least a $100 purchase. Does this mean I need to buy over $100 in DGC since the 5% off would make the purchase $95?

It should trigger it before the Red Card discount so a $100 DGC should work. People have had success the past couple days. Those of us who purchased Sunday and Monday did not and had to chat with customer service to get the bonus....YMMV.

Thank you! Are there any reports if it was better in person or online? If in person seemed better, I can run in there before it expires tomorrow.

My Target circle bonus was $15 for $125 purchase. I ordered $125 Disney egift cards on Tuesday but never got credit. I tried chat today. First the rep told me my purchase didn't qualify because it was under $125 but if I contact them after the promotion ends they will give me a courtesy credit. I pointed out that the offer was on a $125 purchase BEFORE red card discount. Then he apologized and said I still need to wait until the promotion is over, gave me a reference number and assured me I will not need to repeat all the details when I contact them again. I'm skeptical, but I agreed to wait.

My husband has the same offer on his account but I'm not sure I want to bother trying it again. What a hassle. :headache:

  • Giftcards.com
    • Not exactly a gift card deal, but Giftcards.com is available on Airline shopping portals again - if you're buying a giftcard anyway and want to earn airline miles instead of cashback with RMN, Rakuten etc, look at the airline shopping portals where you can earn 1 mile per dollar spent on many airlines.

I had the exact offer and bought $125 in eGCs a little while ago. The rewards credited as soon as they sent the emails. I think today is the last day, so I'd definitely consider doing it soon if you're on the fence!

Ugh, major stonewall by chat support at Target. The first person told me that I didn't get it because I didn't meet the spend criteria ($150) but I did prior to my RedCard discount. I got escalated to someone else who said that I did meet the spend but it wasn't eligible for gift cards. We went back and forth. I asked to be escalated elsewhere. He finally said that he would grant an "exception" but that they wouldn't do that until after the bonus expired. I gave up.

Same exact experience I had. Waiting to see if my bonus will credit tomorrow as they said it would "as a courtesy".
