We leave on March 5th and staying till the 9th. I am really bummed about all the rain. Accuweather doesn't show much rain for those dates but cloudy and cool. The Weather Channel forecast show lots of rain. Not sure which one to believe. After the winter we have had in Iowa I was hoping for some sunshine. I have rain ponchos for everyone and extra shoes.

I think the Weather Channel tends to overestimate rain, and Accuweather underestimates. I like to look at the local TV channel in LA. https://ktla.com/weather/maps-and-radar/orange-county-7-day-forecast/

I've found the most accurate to be Dark Sky. https://darksky.net

Get the app and it'll give you up to the minute forecasts for exactly where you are. It's really accurate... but is always updating based on the latest data, so the closer to the time, the more accurate it gets.

It's time to pack, but the weather is so wacky I don't know what to take. Looks like none of my days next weekend will be warmer than 62F. 62 will feel very different on a sunny day than it will on a cloudy rainy day though. I guess I'm taking every item of clothing we own, I hope the rental car is big enough

Less than a week to go, trying to scramble to get all our appointments done while double checking hotel requests and our dinner reservations. Have to be careful with the packing because the kids don't know about it yet. We are going to tell them on my son's birthday Wednesday by giving him a Disney gift card (which would not be a normal gift for him unless we were going to DL). Walking the fine line between excitement and anxiety

3/9-3/15 for me and the family! It's their first trip to DLR. We're WDW veterans but they are really looking forward to it. I haven't been since 2006 myself.

3 sleeps to go until we load up for Disney, and then 3 more nights (with or without sleep during the drive) until we are in Disneyland!

And my DH decides we HAVE TO fix up our suburban so we can give it to his brother. Not sure why it couldn't wait until we got back, but now we've added replacing all tires on it to the list of errands this week....

We are replacing tires this week too and leave on Friday as well. Sounds like we are on the same schedule! However, I have come down HARD with the stomach bug today and have done nothing but get sick and sleep. It’s supposed to only be a 24 hour bug, but this was NOT the week to get this (I rarely get sick as it is), but I guess it is better to happen this week instead of next! Just crossing my fingers no one else gets it (the baby had a much milder version two days ago).

Oh no!! I do hope you feel better quickly - I know how much it sucks to be prepping while sick. Fingers crossed we have nice travel weather too and some good park days
