Hi all,

My husband and I will travel to Disney coming October. We are doubting about a car. Last April we did 3 weeks in Florida, one week Clearwaterbeach and we had a car. We found then a good deal for 380 euro if we booked it with our flights so that was good. Now for 2 weeks we cant find anything under the 800 euro so we are thinking about not renting a car.

Can you tell us, we arrive at 20.30 at the airport, coming from Europe what will the price be for an Uber or Lyft?
What will the price be for an Uber/Lyft on halloween from BeachClub to small town Celebration? (and back of course)

Is it possible to have a quick stop with Uber/Lyft from the airport at a Publix or Wallmart?

Kind regards,

Esther

No one can tell you what the price will be, there are a lot of aggravating factors that affect the price. In general, it's about $50 without surge pricing for a standard Uber.
I usually figure on $20 each direction for any ride share that leaves property.
No, an Uber or Lyft will not offer a grocery stop. You and the driver may be able to come to an agreement, but by policy, they aren't supposed to. If you are going to use ride share I would plan on getting things delivered.

Uber price from MCO to a Disney resort ranges from $30 to $40 plus tip, unless surge pricing is really bad. I've never seen it above $45. They only allow for a 5 minute stop, and it needs to be included in the initial request. I would recommend getting groceries delivered to the resort instead, or taking a separate rideshare after checking in to the resort.

Beach Club to Celebration is about $15 each way.

For 800 euro and staying at beach club, I would recommend using rideshares.

I'd do a private ride service like Gear Fusion where you can add a grocery stop to your trip for a nominal fee (a number or ride services offer this, usually the way they operate is they tell you what store to order from and you do a drive-up pick-up).

If you rideshare to WDW I seconding use a delivery service for groceries, lots of people do this. If you want alcohol included you'll need to meet your delivery driver.

Nobody can tell you what halloween uber/lyft pricing will be. That could be subject to surges as Halloween is a Friday this year (read: it's gonna be a serious party night) so you may need to be flexible and willing to wait a bit if prices look nuts.

Personally I use Mears every time we go and then just do the amazon grocery drop off to the room. Saves time and energy and you can do the shopping days in advance and set the delivery window that works for you.

My parents used Lyft last time they went and saved money versus what I paid for Mears but then my sister not to long after paid a good amount more so I'd rather just budget Mears into my plans and call it good.

as for Halloween night no clue how much but I'd be ready for it to be more then 'normal'

How much is the Mears bus transportation from MCO to WDW resort please?

Dee
