Disney's CARIBBEAN BEACH RESORT Information & Questions

Hi! Can anybody tell me if the Under the Sea rooms in Trinidad have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom area? We stayed there last year but I just can't remember if they do… Thank you! :)

Looking forward to our CBR stay in March and it's been a very long time since I stayed there (pre Skyliner, pre Riviera!). I have seen that the Epcot fireworks are visible from the grounds of CBR generally, and I'm wondering if someone can give me some good tips about a good viewing spot if we want to see what we can see on our arrival night? We stayed at the Poly last trip and our son LOVED playing in the sand, while we loved getting a cocktail from the Tiki Terrace and chilling on an Adirondack chair right next to him, all with a fireworks view. Is there anywhere similar at CB (with some sand and some chairs or hammocks) where we might be able to catch some of it? And do they pipe in music like the Poly does?

The beach out front of Old Port Royale or the Martinique beach are good spots to catch the higher Epcot fireworks. And no, they do not pipe in the music. Enjoy your stay! We loved CBR even before the Skyliner and now it's even better!

Hello - Moving to CBR for 1 night after 3 nights at the Dolphin. I have a pool/water view booked (least expensive option available). I plan to either check in or drop my bags during an afternoon break, then take the bus to MK around 5 or 6. I don't mind walking but would prefer not to be on ground floor. Should I/can I request upper floor in advance?
Yes you can. I would call the main reservations line at least a week out and ask the phone CM to add requests to your reservation. Then about 5 days out, I like to call again and then ask the phone CM to read me back any requests on our reservation.
Any other requests I should make? The next day I'll be dropping my bags will bell services and heading to Riveria for breakfast, then either shopping at Disney Springs or relaxing by the pool, depending on the weather. Thanks!
I would also request Martinique to be somewhat close to Riviera and close to Bell Services. So I would word your requests
2nd floor and Martinique - if 2nd floor is most important
Martinique and 2nd floor - if being close to Riv/Bell Services is most important

According to the 58 second mark of this room tour, yes it does.

Sebastian’s Bistro Closing for Refurbishment in March

We’re checking into Caribbean Beach Resort this Saturday and staying in a standard 5th sleeper room. This is our first time putting in a room request, so apologies for being a total newbie at this!

Our top priorities:
  1. Proximity to the Skyliner – We’ve got three kids under 7, so easy access is key.
  2. The new Murphy bed/little mermaid layout – Same reason—kids.
  3. Connecting or at least adjacent rooms – We’re traveling with another family (same room type) and would love to be close to each other.

From what I’ve read, it seems like Trinidad might be a good option? But I’m not sure if that’s our best bet for the Murphy beds + Skyliner combo.

So, what’s the best way to make sure we get all (or most) of these requests? Should I do online check-in and note preferences there, or is calling a better option? Also, any specific wording or strategies to increase our chances?

Appreciate any advice!

Trinidad will give you a good chance at two of the three - guaranteed Little Mermaid rooms and pretty easy Skyliner access. We stayed there with three kiddos last fall and loved the location. I think I'd definitely call and speak to someone directly. Then you can also ask upon check-in, and if possible, they'll give you all/most of your requests. I'd start with whatever your number one priority is and go from there. Good luck!!

You rule. Thank you!

I'm staying at CBR for the first time in June! My family & I requested preferred rooms - what village would that put us in? Thank you!

You can't request a preferred room, you have to actually book a preferred room. What room type did you book

Seeing some other posts about room requests so wanted to see if you guys could help me too. We are booked in a water view, fifth room sleeper, non preferred. We are traveling with my parents who’ve booked the same category and already have a request for adjoining or at least close by rooms if possible. I’d like to add a request for updated rooms if possible - should I just say that or are there specific buildings I should ask for that has the room type we booked? Skyliner proximity would be great but I think I’d rather have a more updated room and a longer walk.

In case you didn't know, in Disney speak adjoining = near each other. Across the hall, a couple rooms down, etc. Connecting means right next to each other with an interior door that connects the 2 rooms.

All rooms are updated. If being near your parents is the most important thing, I would not make any other requests.

Thank you! I think the request is for connecting then and I just didn’t use the right word. I spoke to a person when making this request and I had asked for the door connecting them as a first choice or otherwise nearby if not available!
All rooms are updated.
I think I asked this incorrectly. From what I can tell anyone, all of the rooms have been somewhat updated but only some have the design with the Murphy bed as the second queen bed. I can’t tell if those are only the “little mermaid rooms” or if they’re available more broadly. My parents will be in a room with a scooter and just the two of them so I thought that design would be particularly well suited to give them more room. And possibly also good for our family of three (two Adults and a three year old) if my three year old will stay in the little bed! So that’s what I meant by updated but I guess I’m specifically asking about that configuration.

But this does also remind me I also have a request for a ground floor room given the scooter so my odds of being able to get all of these requests are probably not high - but figure there’s no harm in asking just in case! I know it’s only a request.
