Digital Membership Cards?

That’s good to know, thanks! It’s been a few days over here and they still haven’t shown up, but I’m going to give the phone number fix another round (or 10) today and maybe it will work this time! Or show up a few days after this attempt! :)
Try:
1. Remove card from apple wallet
2. Sign out and back into MDE app
3. Change phone number in MDE app
4. Add card to Apple wallet
Disclaimer : I had to do this a couple of times and my blue card designation is wrong but it will eventually take the update affiliations

Just did this and my previously non existent affiliation list now shows correctly
 
Bless you people. I was going nuts before I found this thread--it gave me the DVC card image option, but wouldn't show my affiliations. The weird phone number reset worked. Thank you!
 


I'm completely lost. We are Arizona folks so we don't have APs or the MDE app. I downloaded the app and logged in - it shows that I'm DVC but just shows my ID number. I cannot find a code to scan my blue card for the life of me. There is nothing in my DVC account other than a nice picture of the blue card that is sitting in my wallet. Anyone want to help me out? I've scrolled through this thread but I can't even get to the problems that you all are having.

In the MDE app, you now have to now set up Magic Mobile. Once you set that up, you add it to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay.

It is in that where you will find the information regarding affiliation and the QR code.

I don't have anything to set up in Magic Mobile. All I have is my DVC member number and my Blue Card number - no pass to link in Magic Mobile. That's my problem.
 
This is the same for me, too. No matter how many times I’ve tried the removing card from wallet, adjusting phone numbers in MDE trick… I just can’t get the affiliations to show.
Do you have a home phone number added in MDE? Removing the card, deleting the cellphone number and then adding it back and trying again did not work for me until I added a phone number in the "optional" home phone number space.

Are you in the MDE app? You have to do through that and not website.

I added to my wallet and like so many it shows us with "ND" and we are blue card members. It does show our Castaway Cay affiliation however. We are old grandfathered in members and have always and still do have a blue card. I called the other day and they stated they would open a "challenge" to fix this but many others on this same problem are already open. I checked today by deleting/adding back to digital card several times and it still shows as "ND" BUT now not does not show our Castaway Cay affiliation now when before it did!..ºoº

My Castaway club affiliation disappeared from mine as well. I went and signed into my Castaway Club account and then went back to check and now the affiliation is showing.

Thanks, I tried this 2 times and no luck. I will give them another couple of days then call them again. You know I would have thought this change would have been tested and re-tested before it was released to a production mode. We as members should not have to jump thru these hoops because they did not do their job. When I was in IT we tested and re-tested before we went live. Maybe their IT should do the same thing...ºoº

From the reports, the info regarding grandfathered resale owners didn’t make it into the coding so that is why people who don’t have direct points were impacted.

MS mentioned it talking a few weeks which is why the temporary card on website still exists.

I was told by end of January they should have it fixed and by then, no more digital option.

We shall see how it all pans out because things can and do change. Lol

I had to laugh at your post because of course you’re right, this should have been tested and retested before going live, but we all know that Disney’s IT doesn’t work that way.

What do you think it means for people who says just DVC with no other Y or ND? Ours should have a Y as we are direct blue card owners. My husband has tried redoing the process a couple times but it still says the same DVC?
 
I had to laugh at your post because of course you’re right, this should have been tested and retested before going live, but we all know that Disney’s IT doesn’t work that way.
With the kind of bugs people find for just basic things sometimes I wonder if they test this stuff at all prior to deploying the changes to us the customers.

I think the users (we) are the testers. That way they only have to fix the bugs people complain about, not all of them. However, DVC isn’t the only timeshare with poor software - the TUG Wyndham board is full of complaints, too.

Hmmm. Maybe delete the card from your Apple Wallet and then reload it? It is definitely frustrating that the “fixes” that work for some people do not work for others.

Do you own direct points but less than the current 150? I have heard that some DVC owners in this category could be impacted.

I would contact MS and have them put in a ticket or even contact Disney MDE support and see if they can help?

Hi, yes, we bought a direct contract when the minimum for blue card was 75. We already had a 210 point resale contract. We have had the blue card for 2 years. Do you mean impacted like we wont qualify for benefits anymore or that they coded something wrong in the system?
