Flame Tree BBQ
One of my favorite places to eat at WDW and by far my favorite counter service. The food is tasty, but what really make the experience is the outdoor seating. Try to sit at the water-side pavilion and you might see Mickey and Minnie float by in their explorer boat. There's also a spectacular view of Everest. No matter the time of year, this seating area is cool, comfortable, and quiet. We love it!
Pictured:1/2 BBQ chicken plate, BBQ pork sandwich plate, and key lime pie.
Scrumptious if you are a BBQ fan. If not, you'd better skip this place altogether! Although I have tried the grilled chicken salad and fruit bowl on a different trip, and they were both wonderful. Perfect for the summer heat. the 1/2 BBQ chicken plate was too much for Mom to handle, and I was happy to share it with her since I got the kids meal.
The 2 baked chicken wings were just as good as the adult chicken and it came with your choice of 2 sides: applesauce, carrots, fries, or grapes. And who can resist the little Mickey ear plate! Best of all, the price was only $4 and included a bottled water.
We had a few dinner guests this trip.
