Prayers needed - we leave in 6 days to take my DD 3 to disney for the first time and she started running a fever today - prayers for a quick fever and that it doesn't spoil her first time to the kingdom! Thanks!!!!

We're sick as well. DD woke up with headache and fever on Sunday; goes away with Advil and then comes back when the med wears off. I don't feel great either so we probably have a virus. Leaving Friday no matter what though.

I'm sorry you all are not feeling well. Hopefully you will be better by Friday.

Off to the airport! Skies are quiet now so I hope we get out at 6am! Super excited! Only slept from 8 until 10:45pm... Guess a nap is in order upon arrival!

We have a DVC open house appointment this morning. DH was online last night checking it out. It is something we have seriously talked about over the years.
We also move over to AKL today and I can't wait. CBR is nice...We have had a great time. But, I miss my deluxe.

Things are going great. It's HOT. We have utilized pool time more than ever before.

I was reading on Easywdw last night that they are doing an opening show at HS now and holding everyone at the stage until the show is over. Watching the video it looks just like MK at rope drop now with everyone heading towards TSMM instead of A&E and 7DMT. Was anyone at HS for rope drop last week or this week? If so what was your experience?

I was planning to be at HS by 8:15am on a non-EMH day and sign my son up for Jedi Training Academy first thing then walk quickly over to TSMM and hopefully have a wait of 20 minutes or less to ride standby. We did this on Thanksgiving Day 2012 and it worked fine. After looking at the video on Easywdw I do not think we will be successful. We have a FP+ for TSMM but we wanted to ride it 2 times. It is one of my son's favorite rides and he does not ride many things.

I think I need to change my plans for our day at HS. We will be leaving on Saturday to drive down and I am tired of planning. Thanks.

I have been in Disney since sat. Our Girl Scout troop is having a blast. The weather has been very hot all day and there has been a short storm each evening. We went to MK Sunday., AK yesterday, and we will be in HS today. Hope the rest of you enjoy your trips as much as we are.

Yay!! My mom is having this same debate because they also have an early flight. She considered going to bed at 7 and sleeping until about 2 or 3am and then just getting up for the day. They have to head to the airport by 5:30. Hope you have a great flight and we'll be joining you soon!!

We are getting up at 4am on Friday so we could leave the house nice and early and hit the road before rush hour. I always say I'll go to bed early but it never happens! Too excited!

Same here (although we don't have to leave as early since it's only a 6.5 hour drive!) We normally aim to leave the house by 7, but I am always awake earlier and can't go back to sleep. We decided if that happens this time, we're just going to go ahead and get up and get moving! It's hard to time it so that we don't hit Jacksonville or Orlando during lunch rush hour! We normally hit one or the other.
