Ok, POFQ from 9/17-9/27
Standard View
2 adults, 2 children
10 day park hoppers
DDP
No insurance
$3991.98
Without DDP= $2912.38
I'm assuming your 2 children are Disney kids right (ages 3-9)?
Her sig says her DD is 2.
Her sig says her DD is 2.
I was just told that all values are booked & that rates went up today. True or nutso CM?
Did anyone here book for 2 adults in the All Star with an upgrade to Deluxe Dining? If so, what was the price? Curious if they charge more for the room with the free dining. I only need 1 park one day pass with no hopper but I hear you need to purchase a 2 park ticket is that correct?
I am wondering if it is cheaper to upgrade to DD or stay at Port Orleans
I bet I know what he did too...besides just being so busy trying to sell me the insurance that he didn't even verify my kids ages (even tho I told him several times that was higher than my other quote). smh...
Another call in the morn now.

Ok...so I'm new to this whole Disney thing...lol. My family (both kids are 8 years old) is going to WDW 8/14-8/21. We booked 2 months ago and have the dining plan that has 1 snack 1 sit down and 1 quick service meal a day. So my question is...do we just call this monday and say we want the free dining plan? And how much money do you think this will save us?
Thanks...

If you check in the 14th you are not eligible. The promotion period begins on the 15th.
If you can change your dates or do a split stay (which would not be easy since you have to buy tickets with the SECOND stay to get free dining, so you'd either have to buy a one-day ticket or go without tickets on the 14th) then how much you save will depend on the type of resort you have booked.
If you are at a value resort (Pop Century or the All Stars) you will receive the quick service plan free, not the regular plan, so you would still have to pay the difference between the regular and the quick service plans (an extra $10 per night for the adults and $2 per night for the children). If you are at a moderate or deluxe resort, you would pay rack rate for the room, plus the tickets. You can subtract the cost of the basic dining plan.
Use the online booking, run the regular, nondiscounted cost of your room plus tickets (remember you'd have to check in on the 15th) and that should be what you would pay for room, tickets and free regular dining plan at a deluxe or moderate. For a value resort, take the same amount and add $10 per night for each adult and $2 per night for each child if you want the regular dining plan.
Ok.. so if I check in on the 14th i'm not eligible for the free dining package for the rest of my stay? We are driving and probably won't do anything on the 14th except just check in and rest. And we are staying at Port Orleans Riverside
