What is the most annoying word used here?

I have laughed at most of these post. For the first time I feel that I didn't waste the last 20 minutes of my life reading a pointless post :) I have to add 2 words / phrases that bother me. One is "Double Digit Dance" with the dancing guy! It bothers me so much I think I will put him 100 times when I hit double digits :) The other one, I am so so guilty of saying on here! I know it drives me nuts but I catch myself typing it all the time! "The Wife" as in: Me and the Wife are going to Disney. Call me strange but I drive myself nuts sometimes :upsidedow

  • Tucker House
  • Tangerine Cafe
  • and not used so much here, but in the real world it's amazeballs how many people think that the term "Disney World" refers to only the Magic Kingdom.

Just a little story for a Wednesday morning (it's morning where I am, anyway)

A couple of friends of ours had a Disney Mural put up in their kitchen, and they were very pleased with it. He sent me a text picture as he knows I'm into Disney. It was the opening spoken lines from "Be our Guest". Except Lumiere was proud to present.....

your diner. And they hadn't noticed.

I sat there for about an hour wondering whether to text back saying, "Looks great" or "HOW CAN YOU NOT NOTICE THE GLARING SPELLING MISTAKE"

Not limited to this board. But back in the day, multiple posters would answer questions with

"Tour guide Mike. And a link"

What is this Mike's personal advertising minions?

Should I make Reservations for CRT the morning when they open the very first day I can?
"Tour Guide Mike."
Really? Would it have been so difficult to type in "yes?"

Mine is Hidden Gem. I don't think there is anything at WDW that is hidden. If it's good, people know about it. It makes it seem likes its some tucked away, empty place that no one knows about with waiters waiting for you at the door and fabulous chef waiting to cook your meal.

<rant on>

the whole DH, DW, DD, DS ,D, D, D ,D

you dont have to put the word DISNEY in front of everything. We get it. You are a Disney fan, you are on this site. Just say my husband, or my wife.....no DH or DW.

<rant off>

I thought it was “dear husband” or “darling husband”, not “Disney husband”. Either way: urgh. I cannot imagine talking about my “dear/darling husband” without it sounding sarcastic. Maybe I’m just a bad wife!

Acronyms, misspellings, and word choice generally don’t bother me. The one thing that I *do* find myself rolling my eyes at is when posters will ask a question that could easily be Googled.

Why take the time to ask what’s on the menu at a restaurant or what time an entertainment option begins when you could just as easily type it into your search engine of choice?

Along those lines, if you say something you saw online and someone else demands that you cite your source. I'm thinking "Buddy, I did my research looking it, if you don't believe me then do your own research!"

Foodie

No sir. I am not so impressed that I'm going to bow at you trendy feet by you calling a vegetable tray a Crudite.
That stuff you made that you call aioli? Yeah. I saw the best foods Jars in your bin when I threw my tissue in it. But keep thinking you're an Iron Chef there.
