OOC: They absolutely should not break up
I think they're cute, and I like Amber. And while they could do more if Eli was dating a YA, I repeat, I like Amber xD
OOC: I like Amber too. I don't know how well a relationship between him and June would go, Eli is quite childish, like his father, June would probably slap him a lot XD. No offense to Eli, of corse, I love him.
OOC: I agree that Eli and June are not the best pairing, but that doesn't mean Eli can't be paired with somebody else.
Feelings are great and all, but it does not make logical sense for them to continue dating. Eli and Amber never really did much as a couple while the original 7 were at camp and part of the camp thread anyway, and Amber is not played at all on the camp thread anymore, it's like she doesn't exist. Plus, where can Amber even get a chance to make it work? She's not a part of the thread and wouldn't fit in, and the only opportunities she's had so far are homecoming and going to see Phantom. And, if I remember correctly, both are still 15.
99% percent of teen couples don't ever take the next step beyond dating. It is because there's a big wide world out there and most teenagers don't have the commitment, devotion, or depth of feeling to make it work. And that is just regular dating, when the guy and girl live near each other, go to the same school, etc. Wait until you take a long distance relationship into account.
99.99% percent of teen couples don't have the maturity, determination, or responsibility
along with all the other stuff to make a long distance relationship work. It's just logic. I live near Dallas. I am not super close with my cousins in Canada (besides the age difference) because I do not have the motivation or time to call them or make an effort to get into contact with them except for certain times. Now that example is just a familial relationship, just imagine how much harder it must be, how much more it requires to maintain a romantic relationship. I'm pretty sure that if Mike and Evelyn or Jay and Hope were separated with several states or countries or even continents between them, and had little time to contact each other, their relationship would become strained, if not broken too.
