Do you have a Disney room?

DS has a full-fledged POTC room! Please excuse the silly look on his face!

My bathroom is Mickey (pie-eyed Mickey, to be exact). Got the main stuff at Sears a long time ago and have added various pie-eyed Mickey trinkets over the years.

We had a Mickey themed bathroom at my old house, but sadly there are no pics.

Also, funny thing this thread reminded me of: is anyone else here familiar with the book "I <3 Ranch Dressing and Other Things White Midwesterners Like"? (Not the same book as "Stuff White People Like," just to avoid confusion.) One of the pages talks about themed bathrooms, and part of it says that they all have one of 3 themes: "country," seashells, or Mickey Mouse. (Funnily enough, my old house had two bathrooms, one Mickey themed and one seashell themed, and my family is white and lives in Illinois. As a result, that page is my favorite one out of the whole book...)

Really cute! Love that shower curtain and the wallpaper border especially :)

You will find Disney in EVERY room of my house to also include the decks and yards. My DH use to work for Disney at a catalog outlet and over the 8 years we accummulated more Disney stuff than one person could/should have. Even when I try to keep Disney stuff out of a room, there are still hidden Disney stuff in every room. Whether it's a napkin shaped napkin holder or my salad forks in the shape of Mickey's hands we have Disney/Mickey stuff coming out our ears. And don't get me started on the 4 curio cabinets filled or the mountain of boxes never openned. I need to start getting rid of alot of this stuff. As for art work, I have at least 10 pieces that never made it to the walls, well, because I ran out of walls. The worse rooms would be our sitting room of villians, our office, the rec room -- only Mickey in that room, to the princess and tinkerbell art in both our room and my granddaughter's room. The guest room is also filled with art work....you can't imagine. You can't even pick up a pencil or inkpen that doesn't have the work Disney on it. Even our car and we have more Christmas Disney stuff than we could ever use in our life. I don't think there is anything I don't have.

My DH just put a bathroom in our basement and it is all Disney thanks to Target. I would love to get that border I saw in one of the pics of a pp! DH is in the process of finishing our basement and it will be a combination game & Disney theme. I have several Disney things in my kitchen and of course many mugs collected over the years. ;)

Thanks to those who posted pictures. I haven't taken any yet, but our bathroom turned out really cute. I do like the idea of hidden Mickeys...need to think about that for the basement. Thanks for the fun thread!:yay:

Great pictures and ideas everyone!! :cool1: I've been wanting to re-do my DS's bathroom which also usually serves as a guest bathroom and the Mickey bathroom has me inspired and Target is calling my name! LOL I might have to finally cave and upgrade from the rubber ducky theme to Mickey/Disney.

Thanks for sharing,
Heather

I love this thread! I am still living at home while I finish grad school but as soon as I get my own house I am totally Disney-fying it!! I have my collection built up from all of my trips and I love that Mickey bathroom idea!!!

That would be the family room in our New York home. There are framed pin collections, pressed coin collections, pictures of various WDW resorts, a huge Thomas Kindaid painting of Disneyland and various Mickies & Minnies about that room.

Funny thing is our Florida home (about 20 or so miles from WDW) has no Disney items around.

We bought a new house this summer. It the first time in about 8 years that we haven't gone to WDW! The new house has an extra bedroom that is very small. I turned it into my Disney room. It has a bookshelf with all different types of Disney books. I displayed some collectibles and hung artwork. My favorite piece is the sleeping beauty cell that my husband bought me when we first got married.
Of course it still has a few storage boxes that we haven't unpacked.:goodvibes
