What do you mean? You would ask the driver to let you out before turning in to the CR driveway? Or in the driveway but before you get to the guard? There's no sidewalk there, and it's a very busy stretch of roadway with buses driving to and from MK and legitimate traffic into and out of CR. I would be surprised if a rideshare driver would agree to that - they should know that Disney's rules forbid it, for safety reasons.

Or am I not understanding where you mean to be dropped off?

There is a sidewalk there. I walk from MK across the street to the resort. And a traffic light. I don't see how a driver can tell you not to get out of the car at a redlight with a sidewalk right there. Unless there is something I don't know

Oh, you mean by the walkway from BLT to MK. Imagine a line of ubers trying to do the same thing.... I think that's one of the reasons the dropoff rules were implemented.

Here is my actual personal experience. The one time we stayed offsite and did not have an ADR we were not allowed into POLY or GF. But the number of times we stayed onsite at another resort and went to visit GF and did not have an ADR, we were let in after the guard scanned our MB. But, it really depends on the guard and how busy the resort is and we did not go in the morning, usually lunch or dinner time.
OP, if you do try the Uber please let us know if you were let in.
