Tickets through AAA or AARP?

Has anybody purchased their tickets from AAA or AARP, particularly for the new 3day/3park special? I see a small savings if I order through either (I am a member of both), AARP being the cheapest, for our dates $253.61 versus $267 through Disney (plus tax). There is not a lot of information on the AARP site, it mentions putting in first, last name for 'will call' but then it asks for an email for email delivery. I just want to make sure I can tie this to my Disney account in advance. Anybody?

I used to buy my APs through AAA until they stopped selling them. They would send an email with the ticket number so I could link it to MDE, and then I could go to a ticket window and get the AP card. It sounds like they are still doing it the same way. You should get an email with the ticket info which you can link to MDE and then go to a ticket window to get physical tickets if you don’t have MB. If you are using MB, you don’t have to get physical tickets, although you can if you want to.

I reputable site that I use is Undercover Tourist, their deals are better than Disney's site and there is a nice refund policy as well. I have used Sam's club as well but UT has been better lately.

I always buy my tickets through AAA. You get your AAA email receipt and shortly after an email that will have your Disney will call print out. You type the will call number into mdx to attach and assign your tickets. Easy peasy.

I’ve bought from AARP and linked via My Disney app. It beat undercover tourist and get away today by about $12 and was like a 10.8% discount from buying Disney direct (for the Apr dates I purchased).

Process was straight forward. I received a link to download the ticket which I immediately linked to MDE app. I bought for me+3 others.

Does anyone know the cost of a 3 day parkhopper with Lightning Lane for an adult through AARP? I'm wondering if the discount will merit joining versus going the UT or AAA. Thanks!

Prices will vary by date, but probably about a $30 savings over WDW directly. Note that you cannot add LL to a ticket at the time of purchase; it's added 7 days or 3 days prior to arrival.

As an FYI when buying tix from a third party do not assume that just because one type of ticket is cheaper from say AAA rather then AARP that all the other tickets will be cheaper. A few years back I was comparing between AAA, Working Advantage, and direct from Disney using Disney GC's that I got a target using my red card for 5% off. I found that AAA was cheaper for non park hopper tickets but buying park hopper tickets were cheaper through Disney using the discounted GC's. Always compare.
