The Sea Raycers can't be reserved. They are on a first come first serve basis. Not too familiar with CR but at the GF they have always had plenty available. We always rent them between 10:30 and 11:00. One time we rented them 2:30 in the afternoon and we were so hot out there. They are a lot of fun.

Thanks for the information.

I was wondering the same thing. How is the food and how long does it usually take for it to arrive? Any recommendations of "must haves" when ordering CR Room Service?

TIA :)
Not every item but some of the items on the room service menu are also available at the Contemporary restaurants and the Contempo Cafe. So depending on what you order it will be more expensive in the listed price, service charge and etc.

We've always had very good luck with room service at the Contemporary. I don't think we've ever waited longer then 30-45 minutes for a full meal for four people (for quick items it's been less). The food on the whole is very good and if the menu hasn't changed since last summer, I'm partial to the braised beef short ribs. :)

Thank You contemporarymom!:)

Ok.. let me add this.. DO NOT GIVE UP! Keep calling back- when I first stayed on the 14th FL, it was because of a lovely CM! A few years ago, we had come back from a fabu stay in the summer.. I kept hearing about the Christmas decorations and without telling my DH, I called in... tried to book a TPV in the tower, all booked up.. CM puts me on hold.. I was on hold for almost 15-20min! He comes back on and said he had a 14th FL TPV room and I took it evne though it was a bit more money than I expected to spend, I was back in CR so I didn't care, lol! Little did I know that it would be the HIT of our trip! I've never looked back and try to stay on 14 when I can, but I would also do 12 again too.

As a fellow waffler, I suggest you call on a whim now and then, checking to see if a room opened up on the 14th FL. YOu never know when the stars will line up, and the pixie dust will be sprinkled.

Honestly- either 12 or 14 would be great! Both floors offer great CMs and service! You won't regret either floor on club level!

Sorry.. I am known to be an enabler, ;)

Mary

Well I just called and got the 14th-I kid you not! What kind of dumb luck is that? Now I have another question. The CM said the room is 473 sq. feet. We'll have two queens because there's 4 of us. Is there a day bed? If not, can I request a roll away? My oldest DD was really looking forward to having her own bed. I know beggars can't be choosers...

Glad to hear everything worked out for you. Your family will love the 14th floor.

There is a sofa that pulls out to a daybed. It would be plenty big for either an eight year old or a three year old (I checked your sig for your children's ages). :D

That's good to hear-thank you!

If anyone has noticed the 1st page and see's the photos I posted are not there, it's because I exceeded the 10 GB monthly bandwidth limit on my free Photobucket account. However according to the e-mail I got they will be reactivated on the 20th of the month, when my bandwidthusage resets to zero.

I am very seriously considering buying into DVC at Bay Lake Towers. Wondering if there are DVCers that can tell me if they like it and what specifically you like.

We are booked for a Club Level stay which I have assumed is the 12th floor, lake view, but your codes have me wondering.

My package is listed as "Contemporary - HCW", and the hotel line says "Contemporary-Standard-Club".

Does HCW mean I am on the 14th floor?

I am not sure if it's for the 14th floor because Standard Club means the Bay Lake View and that's listed for the 12th floor. So hopefully someone else will be able to find the answer for you.
