Well his Hype a loop is going nowhere. His tunnel digging didn't go anywhere either. LOL and it was more expensive, not 1/10th the price as he claimed. His cybertruck is a joke. Self driving car... Nope. Awesome batteries that go 1,000 miles on a charge.... He designed the cab of his TeslaTruck such that it isn't functional for actual Truck Drivers. Nope. I'm not sure his brain is capable of better things. Seems like a con artist to me. Either that or means well but he bites off more than he can chew all the time. Although he seems very capable of suckering governments at the national state and local levels out of tax dollars and subsidies.
There is a fascinating thing with Musk where he got really lucky in the early days. Yes, he worked really hard but so do so many we never hear of and happened to go in on the right things, and then cashed out perfectly. Then he was this guy with funds to invest in others who were doing cool stuff. Now he is sort of this eccentric rich guy who pays people who he overworks while he gets crazy funding from governments the rest of us can't even reasonably dream of. Those employees do amazing things, but he's also failing at lot and has squandered more government money than most of us make in a lifetime. Without that early cash out he would be just another "illegal" avoiding deportation. He only even got citizenship because he could pay to skip the decades long line.
