Do they have extended sizes for shoes? I need a size 15, been able to order Brooks online but never in stores, I’m group 8 so hopefully they will still be available

The site says they go up to a men's 15 and women's 13.

Sounds like they put all their energy into the Brooks launch and the merch was a second thought. I feel better about spending time trying on shoes first now.

Another pic of the Brooks checkout. It was on two sides of the room, they staged two deep at each register. Hand over the form, confirm order, runner gets the shoes, check them if you want, bag, pay, done. It moved very quickly. And note that I saw NO merch other than the shoes that was Brooks. Only the race shirts.

Ugh.. mine errored errored out right at 8:30:00, so my second button press got me 43.

43 as well… on par with last years 44…. Just going in for my pre ordered pins, than magnets and a shoe ornament not for brooks so now to pray I4 is my friend

Brooks area was super organized and smooth! They were also giving out the patches that come with the SS shoes just outside that area to anyone who purchased.


Actually it split up the crowd nicely. And the merch is a bit lacking imho. Not a single thing with Meg or Pegasus. Very little of the athleisure line. I got this cute tshirt, but they maybe had 20 of them in very limited sizes.

In fact, I didn't see anything outside the main race characters on anything.

Well that sucks and is seriously a missed opportunity but probably will save me some money so I guess I can’t complain too much

We’re on a bus back to Music already. I’m glad we were there early to get in line to pick up my grandma’s 5K bib. For anyone trying to figure out corrals, 414XX is C.

This is the most dead I’ve seen the line for merch on the first day of expo. Once I got done with the shoe try on went straight in to the merch area. No line

Photo ops in bib pickup are Herc and Meg (HUGE line), Mr Incredible, and a galaxy backdrop that I assume is a Groot magic shot.

my bib number is 227xx

wife's is 228xx

We are both doing the challenge, and put in the lowest non-POT time of 1:56-2:05 and 8:01-10:00 for 5k, 10k.

Corral C for us.

Also the participant shirts were a bit smaller. Traded in my large for extra large.

Well that wasn’t as bad I was thinking it would be with group 43. Went to bib pickup right about 10. A little line to get in, but it continuously moved with no real stopping. Helped a friend at runner relations with getting her POT accepted. Straight into the expo. Our virtual queue was called while browsing, and we weren’t taking our time waiting for it to be called either. Everything went smoothly, and we were on a bus by noon.

And Corral A for me with 202xx and 1:55:xx POT.

Was in/out of merch in if you weren’t doing brooks you skipped the holding room all together

The Hercules line makes up for it we are tag teaming out to do other photo ops and possibly grab shirts

This is also the first event that the shirts are handled by Brooks, right? For those who have picked up their shirts, how is the sizing? I've always selected LARGE for Marathon weekends, but I'm curious if the pre-Brooks LARGE = post-Brooks LARGE?

There's chatter that the shirts are definitely smaller. Not sure if it's enough to change your sizing but you'll want to try them on when you get them.

I’m not running this weekend, but I tried on @superchime’s shirt (women’s large) for sizing reference and it fit me. I usually get a medium. I think I would size up unless you want a really snug fit.

I got women’s medium, and I think they fit similar. They may be a tad smaller, but I usually like my shirts to not be tight, and both the runDisney and Brooks versions aren’t tight on me; however, it’s possible the runDisney one’s could have been slightly larger.
