9/12-9/15 for our first DL/DCA trip! Can’t wait to experience the original!

Wife ran the 5K this morning. Older son and I went down to cheer her on in the Esplanade and later in Pixar Pier near the end. Fun energy! Looking forward to my 10k tomorrow.

Leaving soon to hit CA for the day. Won’t be late though because we really need some sleep.

Least busy park I have experienced since the post COVID era. Of course, it’s hotter than Satan’s ****hole.

I was just checking the app and looking at wait times and my eyes almost popped out of my head! I'm sure it's the heat.

Just went again with the family and the standby lane started about 10 people back from the LL point. The look on the faces of those who purchased LLSP can only be politely be described as displeased.

I love hearing about current trips and countdowns!

We finally bought plane tickets for our quick 9/29-9/30 trip. We’ll get into SNA Sat am at 11 and plan to drop bags at Hojo and head straight to DL. I didn’t get LLMP with my tickets. I figure I wait until we get there to see if it’s worth it at that point. Any sense if a midday arrival will get much use out of it? We are really just there for Halloween, but the 8 yo will want to crush some rides for sure.

We’re just doing DL Sat and OBB on Sunday.

Likely because of the heat, people are canceling reservations for tomorrow.

River Belle Premium and Blue Bayou Fantasmic dining are available.

Managed to get a LL for right at 3pm for Monsters After Dark (which we have never seen) but it didn’t end up opening back up until 3pm. It felt a little more intense but I guess I was expecting more… scary? Especially with the signs outside.

Had to cut the day pretty early because most of us have been up since 3am for the 5k and we need to wake up again tomorrow at 3am for the 10k.

Hoping tomorrow at DL we’re able to make it later before heading home Sunday.

I am doing my Disney-staycation this coming week! I'm very excited the weather seems to be much better compared to these last few days. I'm hoping it doesn't change!

We will be there for 1 night only end of the month. I just had the regret set in, wish I had booked 2 nights instead and all the DVC rooms are booked for adding a night. We will be only doing OBB, character meals outside of the parks, some pool time and time in DTD.

Very successful 10k this morning along with even more successful nap. Exhausted today but managed to get into DL around 1 and in just five hours plus LLMP plus refreshing have done:

• Space Mountain
• Matterhorn
• IASW (no LL, walk on)
• MMRR
• Mobile order for ice cream treats at Golden Horseshoe
• Indy
• Pirates
• BTMR

Our HM VQ should come up in the next 10 minutes or so and then we may head out. Been a fun race and getting a little park time in too.

Guardians of the Galaxy overlay. They close the ride down at 2:00 and reopen it at 3:00 each day during the Halloween season.

Thanks! The heat for the race definitely slowed us down but not too much. We are from Phoenix after all.

Ah... thanks. I knew there was something for Guardians but I didn't know it was called that. I didn't realize it was only for part of the day either, so thanks for answering. That'll be good to know when we are there next week.
