Sorry if this has been discussed, but the search function isn't giving any good results.

I have used racedots in the past as an alternative to the safety pins, but I remember that there is something similar at the expos during each race. Does anyone know what the name of the company is that is that the expos?

Reason I am asking, my wife and I are gearing up for the 5k and 10k at DL in a couple weeks and she will need a set, as well as we will each need some for the AWD and AWD Guide bibs for our backs.

Open to good suggestions of other products.

TIA.

I just used BibBoards brand BibSNAPS and they worked fine for the WDW Half Marathon for me. They're basically round plastic snaps and didn't ruin my cotton shirt at all. I do though keep the expo issued safety pins in my running chest pack as a backup for during the race or anyone that I can see that needs them.

I've used Bib Boards for most of my races and find them easy and effective. I tried the magnets last week and had a hard time getting them just where I wanted them. They did come in handy for holding my two bibs together for the marathon when they had chip timing issues, however.

I tried RaceDots magnets for a while and hated them. Now I just stick to either safety pins or BibBoards.

Scar has had bib magnets the last couple of MW expos. I like them better than Race Dots, because they aren’t quite as heavy and they have a plastic covering. They will still stick to magnetic things if you get too close (corral fences).

I also used BibBoards for several years before I got a set of the Scar magnets last year.

RaceDots work grate for us. I used BibBoards once because I forgot the Dots. The BibBoards sadly marked up my clothes with a permanent indentation.

I love my Race Dots, I've been using them for about 2 years now and never had a problem
