Recommendations for Hotel near AK Lodge?

Hi, we're staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge the first week of December in a studio. My niece and her husband live in Daytona and would like to visit for a couple days and a night. I would prefer that they not stay with us as it would be tight with 4 adults. Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels near Animal Kingdom Lodge (around I-192)? After checking Google Maps, most hotels are only 5-10 minutes away. Some hotels on Google maps are Comfort Inn, Margaritaville, Quality Inn, Wyndham Orlando Conference.

The hotels at Flamingo Crossing are very close to AKL. We stayed at the Home2 Suites and it was nice.

We stayed at SpringHill Suites at Flamingo Crossing and thought it was great, onsite restaurant was good food at a reasonable price. However, I've read some of the FC hotels are now charging for parking which is a disappointment in my book.

Definitely the Flamingo Crossing area over 192. I would avoid anything on 192 at all cost! Maybe Margaritaville.

Another vote here for a place in Flamingo Crossing. Quick trip down Western Way to W. Buena Vista, then Osceola Pkwy. into AKL.

If they want to be on property, the All Star resorts are in that area.
