Our reservation at YC starts on July 25. Praying that if they are running behind they let people know in time to change the reservation.

Several years ago we were at BWV while SAB was being refurbished.
They had CMs shuttle Y and B guest to BW pool.
This was at Easter time so BW was already crowded.
I witnessed a couple of YC guests arguing with lifeguard demanding to know why there was not a a reserved area for YC guests!
Not sure if they will allow Y any B quests to pool hop this time

I doubt it will happen this year since Disney announced SAB being closed for this refurbishment early last year. It is not a surprise to anyone not living under a rock.

They’ve also been sending out emails to guests who book a reservation for the affected time period making sure they are aware.

Really hope they stock to their timeline and it's open again in July. Walking past it at night a few weeks ago was eerie as usually there are so many lights on and the pool is always hopping even late night.

SAB has been closed awhile. WDW has said the quiet pools at Yacht and Beach are available.
There has been absolutely no mention of allowing the use of Boardwalk pools.

That makes more sense. Otherwise, BW pool would be overrun.

Some people on FB, in an Y&B Club Group, are reporting they were allowed to use the BW pool during construction and a couple of posters claimed they were taken over to BW on a golf cart. Some replied they were told No when they asked. Obviously, there’s no proof of this other than their posts, but thought I’d share.
