Oops, I think I did it again...Another Disneyland trip and check-in thread!

We will be visiting June 17-20, staying in a studio at VDH to celebrate DHs birthday. This trip is super exciting since for once, it seems like DH is almost more into it than me (or at least his stomach is). He keeps bringing up the Steak Frites and Scotch sampler at Broken Spell Lounge. That and corn dogs 😂

So, who else is going in June? I'll try to keep the first few posts updated with events and dates of interest

Yay!!! Thank you for starting this!

We (DH, DD, and I) will be staying at DLH June 8-12. We are celebrating our daughter’s 2nd birthday and very first trip to Disney! :lovestruc We are also celebrating our 15th anniversary, which is 2 days after DD’s birthday. This is our first on property stay, as well!

This trip is really a dream come true. DH and I have been coming to Disneyland together for almost 18 years(!), since we were in college. Coming as a family with our own child is something I’ve dreamed about for a LONG time. And we’ve always wanted to stay on property in “the bubble” at DLR since we love it so much at WDW!

So yeah, I’m pretty excited!!! Currently having so much fun introducing our daughter to Disney characters. So far she’s loving Winnie the Pooh the most (especially Piglet), but she’s also a big fan of Ariel and anything Cars. Can’t wait to see what she loves at the parks!

We're staying at GCH June 21-27, we haven't been with our kids since July 2021. We did a quick Halloween trip without them in 2023. Looking forward to them announcing more information on the 70th anniversary activities and hopefully opening up dining packages!

Jan-now crowds have seemed higher than average for this time of year, do we think that will continue through the summer or go down a bit when the major ticket deals expire in May?

My DW and I are staying at GCH hotel for the first time and we check-in later June. We have always wanted to spend time at this hotel and we are finally going to take the plunge and do it. No kids! First, time we have done either DLR or WDW with no kids since 2007. It's been awhile.

As to the PP poster, I hope the summer crowds will be lesser but we always plan for the parks to be busy. Plus, I am a Dapper Dans groupie so attractions aren't the biggest thing for me. I am sad to see the Tiki Room going down on April 28th for a months long refurb. I read late summer for reopening. Doesn't sound promising for my upcoming trip. Fingers crossed for a little pixie dust for Jose, Fritz, Pierre and Michael.

Noooo this makes me so sad! I knew it was down for refurb but didn’t realize for how long. I know our toddler would love the Tiki Room!

Sounds like an amazing trip! How wonderful to be able to see Disneyland through her eyes 🥰

If your daughter loves Cars I'm sure she will be blown away by Radiator Springs. It's so well done and I'm not even a fan of the franchise!

We are taking an adults only trip, me, DH and two of our best friends! We are only doing 2 full days arrivalJune 4th-7th. We are staying across harbor at Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites.

I'm trying to talk DH into doing a partial day Saturday morning with the 70th ticket promo it would only be $20 more per ticket for 3-day Park Hopper than the 2-day Park Hopper we are already planning on. However, he is a big fan of not over doing it 🤪

Welcome everyone!

I'm starting to think of dining reservations. We will definitely do Blue Bayou once, but that may be it. I keep contemplating a Paint the Night package, but we may just try to find a spot on our own. What's everyone else going for? And remember dining reservations open 60 days out!

I’ve had my 60 day window booked in my calendar for months, haha. My mom and sister will be coming with me and my son and they haven’t ever had a proper Disneyland experience- just a day trip on a visit to LA 10+ years ago. I am thinking of grabbing the following reservations:

- Rancho del Zocalo Fantasmic package
- Possibly Paint the Night dining package (really hope they let you sub entrees though, none of us like meatloaf especially not for $55)
- Goofy’s Kitchen character breakfast for my son’s 3rd birthday (my family’s first ever character meal!)
- Trader Sam’s for our arrival day!

Checking in! My mom, sister, toddler son, and I will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel June 27-July 1 as the first part of a big week-long family trip. My son and I went for the first time last summer and had such a great time my mom and sister decided they wanted to take him themselves! They have never spent more than a day at Disneyland and have never been to DCA so I’m looking forward to them enjoying Carsland with my son. I’m super excited to be staying onsite for the first time and for the 70th anniversary events going on. I will also be 20 weeks pregnant (if all goes well 🤞) and so will be forced to take a slower pace since I can’t ride all my favorite roller coasters.

So looking forward to hearing about everyone else’s travel plans!

We are having our first on property stay, too, also at the DLH, for our toddler daughter’s first visit and 2nd birthday! Sounds like such a fun trip for you and your son and family! And congratulations on your pregnancy!!

We’re planning on Minnie’s Breakfast at the Plaza Inn - debating between our first park day and the second park day, which is our daughter’s birthday. Also considering a second character meal at Goofy’s Kitchen since we’re staying at DLH, maybe for breakfast on checkout day. Figure we can keep or cancel depending on DD’s reaction at Minnie’s breakfast.
