So we booked a trip for this fall, made about $1000 worth of payments on it. Then free dining came out and i wasnt able to modify-I had to create a new res. So I still have to go back and cancel the old one.
Questions-whats the best way to handle this? I have no experience. It appears I can cancel online, which is nice bc I have this irrational fear that if I call, the wrong one will get cancelled or something. How long does it take to get a refund? The majority of the payments were via gift card, how does that work? Is there any way to just have the payments transferred to the new res? I've read a couple reports of nightmare situations or problems with it taking forever to get a refund.
