@brightlined I tried your method of waiting room vs. clicking the link RIGHT at 10:00 AM PT. Ironically, the one that was first successful was on my phone using the waiting room via Firefox incognito.

The right at 10 AM one on standard Edge DID work about 3 minutes later though.

Long way of saying, I got a ticket!

My browser that I went on at about 12:45EDT got me in first. My phone - which I got on right at 1 would have been second. My browser tab that I opened when I first saw this thread would have come in third.

I decided to test my plan to see if it would work, and had the same thing happen. So, yeah, I think we can trash my concept, lol.

Congrats to those who got it. Looks like it sold out right as I was getting let in. Bummer. I’ll have to try for an AP spot now.

For future reference on the timing theories, though, I had to screens set up beforehand and then one that I hit right with time.gov when the queue opened. That one ended up being my second spot in line, pretty far behind my first spot and only slightly ahead of my last spot. So it does appear to be pretty random.

Got 1 set of 2! It's perfect, we have two who are big coaster fans, so maybe while they ride I will go off and sample random foods with my other son.

Yeah, I got in on the second browser I opened (the one I almost didn't!) - my phone, which I hit get tickets right at 1 would have been second, and the first tab (in my usual browser) was way behind the others.

For future opportunities - yeah, that's the right link. Sometimes they've had that share functionality disabled - but you can take the main URL from the page and add "&q=<queue id>", and it should be shareable that way. (The queue id is that number at the bottom - it's also in the link there after "q=". If they have the share function disabled, you'll have to copy the text off the page and paste it.)

Do they have park tickets for that day? Can you get a park reservation or hop over. I doubt they'll give your grandkids free EPCOT admission or the food voucher. You might talk your way into letting them go in Harmonius viewing and child swap at GofG. I agree with PP. No shot of getting them in EPCOT without a ticket and park reservationsk

I'd buy the tickets... Likly the whole area will be blocked off and no one but those with lanyards will be allowed in. And it's hard to say how things will go as far as your wait times - child swap might take a bit, and they are just sitting around and waiting? Not like they can go do another attraction or even get some snacks.

Congrats to those that got tickets! I made it through the queue and then it wouldn't let me add my 1 ticket to the cart so I must have just missed it. Oh well! Onto AP previews....whenever that is....

What we've learned so far;

Cast Members signed up easily through the HUB

D23 Members were treated like a lottery

Media received an email invitation with a threat not to leave a bad review

Club 33 members had their butlers hand deliver a written invitation to their private yachts.
