I was trying to find something football-y, since you said your husband was a coach. I just couldn't find that "right" thing.

That's OK. Believe me, we have plenty of football-y things. FYI- the big bag of M&Ms is almost gone. I had a rough day at school today, so I attacked it when I got home.

My girlfriend and I did some fundraising stuff here last night and we had a drink ( ) and out came the swizel stixs. She loved them. Off course I had to show her my socks then!!

Whew! I didn't get the puppy either, but my package arrived today from Eilonwy.

Everything was wonderful, it was fun to unwrap each item from it's green tissue paper. I've eaten most of the Reese's (typing with one finger now so that I can keep eating with the other). And the lime green tic tacs will save me from peanut butter breath when the bag is gone. The scented candles are great, and I love the pumpkin carving kit with patterns (I get one every year, so thank you, thank you!)

I just got my secert pal package today (Fri).

The mailman rang the bell and handed me a package marked
careful live contents!!!!! He said they had bets going at work what it could be!! He asked me if I knew!!!!

Anyways I got alot of great things (no puppy though which would have been sort of fitting since 2 weeks ago had to have our dog of 15 years put to sleep)

Hey everyone! I am sorry I haven't posted in a bit, but my DD has been very sick this week (asthma and gastrointestinal reflux) and I haven't been on much (if any) this week~!

I did receive my package on Tuesday (sorry!!), but I haven't had time to post about it! Cindy had my name and she did an absolute wonderful job with mine!! Thanks so much Cindy for all the goodies!!

Cindy sent me 2 Halloween Towels for my Kitchen, which I love! 2 Halloween stationary packs which included a pencils, 4 erasers and a sticker sheet in each...A halloween memo pad, a large pumpkin candle, Halloween crayons, a small pumpkin candle, a leaf candle, a candy corn candle, a bat candle, 2 cookie cutters (Pumpkin and bat), 2 miniature figures, 4 notepads (2 Halloween, 1 leaf and one Frankenstein), a candy dish, a glow in the dark Pez dispenser, a Autumn Lodge Yankee candle tart, a very cute note, a really nice Pumpkin candle holder and it was all individually wrapped up in orange and black paper!!

She also sent me 2 Ghosts that are hanging together on string, but I have them hanging up at the place I work, so I didn't get a picture of them...They are really cute and look homemade...Did you make those Cindy?

Thanks so much for everything, I had a lot of fun being part of this exchange! Cindy, you really outdid yourself and thank you so much for your thoughtfulness!

I really like that picture. Gilroy has a large outlet center with a Paper Store, which has lots of holiday things for really great prices. My brother was visiting and helped me pick out the Halloween goodies. We had fun. Getting everthing into that box was fun, too!!!!

I have not received my package yet, but am soooo glad I did not receive the "live contents" package. We have a 13 week puppy who is chewing every shoe in the house. Won't touch the nylon bone we bought, but loves Mc Donald's toys. BTW, her name is Ariel. Isn't that fitting for a family of Disneyaholics???

I'm so sorry about your dog,, it must of been heartbreaking,, eventhough I joke alot about my dogs ,, they are like my babies..
I had a ton of fun with this exchange but both times,, my smartypants mouth came around to bite me in the backside,,1st with giving beanie a hard time for senting out her package out so early and it ends up at my house and now with the puppy thing
And Beanie I'm also sorry to hear about how sick your DD was,, I hope she's feeling better,, the poor sweetie

thanks for the kind words about our dog.

We knew this was coming for about the last 6-9 months but it still was very hard but seeing her collaspe just trying to get up the one step into the house was heartbreaking also

THis time at least we had 2 cats to come home to. Last time we had our dog put to sleep after 11 years the house seemed to quite!!!

After only 4 days we got another dog (our beloved Misty )

I know w hat your saying about becoming one of the family!!!

even with the cats though the house seems quite!!

I sure miss her

I got it Belle! DH went to pick up the mail this afternoon on his way home. (I would have had it earlier, but we left my car door open the whole time we were gone and the battery was dead! Silly us!)

I love everything I got!

I recieved: A pot holder, oven mit and halloween themed kitchen towel. A scarcrow to hang and a "Happy Haunting" sign -- very cute. And scrapbooking stickers, which are great! Fall, halloween candy, sayings and party glass stickers. I can't wait to use them; I might even have to do a little scrapping this weekend.

And Belle was soooo sweet to send sweets to not only myself, but Dh, DD and my boys. In the treat bags for the kids she also included a pencil (DD) and halloween crayons (the boys) and little "Boo" note pads. Big hits with the kids. DH liked his candy too!

Thank you Belle! (And nothing melted!)

(I would have posted sooner, but DH was on the computer. It's an old issue of who's computer it really is. )

It is from Finding Nemo- riding the East Australian Current with Crush the turtle. I made that up to hide my location for the secret pal exchange.

Well, I'm embarrased to admit this but ... I haven't seen Finding Nemo yet.

I know, how dare I pretend to be a Disney fan. But I saw that it's coming to DVD so maybe there's hope for me yet.

And eller, I 'm glad you liked everything. I am so awful about picking things out. I pick things out, start packing the box, decide it's not quite right, shop again, pack again ... I'm a basket case.
