Resort Thread Disney's POP CENTURY Resort

Not me, not yet. But stole a photo from someone who is.
Thanks so much!! Looks great and I'm excited to try the Cinnamon Roll Frozen Blended Coffee! Joffrey's frozen coffees are one of my special treats during our Aug visits!!

Appreciate both of you sharing this exciting news! Off to update post 1 as the FOOD COURT REFURBISHMENTS ARE FINALLY COMPLETE after 8+ months!! 🎉🎉🎉

Holy smokes I just left less than a week ago and they literally create one of the greatest things alive, I literally am about to book again to get that chocolate peanut butter bourbon drink. I had the dining plan too and would have gotten that as my drink numerous times!

I will be staying at All Star Music Resort next month (couldn't get Pop on my BB dates I needed) but I will definitely have to get over there to not only see the completed food court but to give some of these new treats a try. Good news for me is what I don't get to try this time I will when I have my Halloween stay at Pop Century in October. Looking forward to both opportunities.

Each person knows what is important to them. Thankfully each of us is different. What works for them may not be the same as what is important to others and that’s okay.

Getting up at 6AM for ETPE is very common as it’s recommended you arrive at resort transportation 90 mins before ETPE begins. Many days that is 7AM for MK as it often opens for ETPE at 8:30AM. Although Tron is not open for ETPE, guests begin lining up the moment they are granted entrance into the park.
What time should we be at the skyliner for an 8:30 ETPE at Epcot? We want try to get on Remi

Rule of thumb continues to be, arrive at transportation 90 mins before ETPE begins. You will want to arrive at the Skyliner no later than 7AM if you wish to be towards the front of the crowd. The line will begin for some around 6AM but it will grow slowly at first then more will join the closer you get to 7AM. It seems right now the Skyliner will start running sometime between 7am and 7:30AM.

If you want to try to be one of the first 75-100 on Remy; I'd be in line by 620ish. We returned a couple weeks ago and got in line between 610-625 and were never in the first few parties, but were somewhere between 4th-7th.

By 645/650 each day the line was already down the bridge and turning the corner. They also weren't starting the skyliner until 730.

Oh wow thanks for the information!

I'm heading to Pop on the 14th of this month, any chance a few of those refurb rooms in the 50's section will be ready? If so, how should I request a referb room? Throught the app or do they still take email requests a few days prior to getting there?

I would be extremely surprised if they’re re-open by the 14th as they only closed last week. Time will tell but personally I would anticipate them being closed longer than 2 weeks as likely (if it was like last refurbishments) they will overlap sections of rooms.

They will likely start a section, do some initial work then while that section is still closed, add another section to start the refurbishment. As we really don’t know what the refurbishments entail, it’s hard to know how long rooms will be closed so these are purely my thoughts based on prior Pop room refurbishments.

When you arrive it couldn’t hurt to visit the front desk and ask if any of the refurbished rooms have been reopened?
