Resort Thread Disney's POP CENTURY Resort

I’ve recently got into a good exercise routine and don’t want to give it up completely while on holiday and loose my progress. Is there enough room in the hotel room to exercise (yoga-ish like exercises), or is there any place I can do it outdoors that is a little away from most people (don’t like the idea of people watching me 🫣)

Keep up your exercise routine and don't worry about other people. If you put the Murphy bed up, there is a bit of room indoors, but it will be tight. I go to one of the pools and just do my yoga/stretches on the pool deck. No one cares. I usually have earbuds in and just zen out for a bit. Put a towel on the pool deck and relax. The computer pool area is often pretty empty, especially earlier in the day. There are grassy areas, too, but the grass in Florida is not what I'm used to in Michigan and the little critters are a little concerning. Remember, too, that you're going to get lots of walking in, so even if you don't do your usual exercise routine, you are still getting activity.

This.

People don't get a second look for wearing mouse or dog ears on their head so someone doing yoga won't either.

I second using Computer Pool deck.

I've got a rope drop question. It seems that, if I want to successfully rope drop Guardians while staying at Pop, I'll have to do ride share. Past experience tells me that entering through the international gateway and being held up in Canada is too far away to beat any of the early morning crowd heading to Future World from the front entrance. Does that sound correct?

Yes.

We usually stay at AoA, but I've seen two people with their yoga mats in a grassy area along the walking path around the lake.

I saw the information about the Disney Ice Cream Sundae truck and was wondering how long they would be available. We are going to Port Orleans, Riverside and were thinking of doing a side trip to Pop Century for the Ice cream truck.
I don't want to get there and find out that they are no longer available.

Anyone going soon, could you let me know when they will stop having this? I would really appreciate it.

The new ice cream selections do not appear to be a limited time offer. I’ve read the announcements and don’t see anywhere that there is an end date for the new ice cream treats! They can and likely will change in time but for now I would not anticipate them changing anytime soon.

Thank you to whoever posted the article with the ice cream. I read the first one about the coffee shop and was JUST a little sad. I mean, I love the option of picking up a pastry in the morning (don't drink coffee at all) but I was missing the ice cream at Pop. I have fond memories of that from last year. Then I saw the next article!! Woo hoo!! Orange vanilla cone, here I come!!

I thought I heard through a reliable source that guests coming in from IG were allowed up to the front of the park where they also hold guests coming in through the front gates. It's still a longer walk, but I'm now wondering if that is correct?
Not sure who your source was but what you heard is not correct. Guests entering from IG are held near Canada so main entrance guests have a definite advantage.

The lines roughly show that main park entrance guests are much closer, especially as they may be allowed closer than the start of the line I drew.

Per Tom Bricker, they no longer hold at Canada. Once they release from the bridge (at 8 on his particular day), you’re free to head all the way to Cosmic. It’s doable, although the guests from the front still have some advantage.
