Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Don’t want to be a negative Nelly, (YC is my favorite resort) but be aware that Stormalong Bay will be closed from Jan-June 2025. It won’t stop me, I have a reservation at YC CL in March but I wanted you to be aware. The other smaller pools will be open. The ones at BC, YC and the Viilas.
Thank you! We know and it's one of the things that's kept us from booking yet. Not that we'll miss the pool, we weren't planning on swimming in Jan, but I'm afraid the construction will be loud. Thank you again!

All of the club rooms I have stayed in at the Boardwalk have had the sleep sofa. We usually have one of our grand children want to stay in our room with us and they love the sofa. A cast member from the Innkeepers Club with call you 5 days before your trip and you can double check with them to make sure , but I am sure you will have one. Lene will be back from vacation this week and I will text her to make sure all rooms have this and I will let you know!
That would be great if you don’t mind checking with Lene and letting me know! Thank you so much!!

Hi everyone! I'm looking for advice on CL at the Beach Club. It's my absolute favorite resort and we would love to take our daughter next month for her very first trip. I can't tell you how many resorts we've booked and canceled for this trip due to construction, transportation options, recent reviews. Its actually been kind of stressful.

We never considered staying Club level, but its all that's left at the Beach Club for a 9-day stay in the middle of January. Any reviews? My husband can eat, and loves the idea of popping in and out of the lounge all day. We also think it'll be really convenient with our daughter, especially when it comes to breakfast and snacks. The only real issue is that we're pescetarians and are hoping there are enough appetizer options for us to make it worth it.

We also only plan on doing half days at the parks. We would get a quick breakfast at the lounge, head out for a few hours and get either a late brunch or lunch at the parks, and then head back for appetizers, dessert and resort time. It's just so pricey, but we figure it may actually even out since we tend to do a lot of sit down restaurants.

Just want to make sure it's worth it before we decide to spend so much. Right now we're trying to decide between resort view club level at the Beach Club, or water view over at the Yacht Club. We leave in less than a month and still don't know what to do!

I need someone to chime in who knows as I’ve lost track of the details, but I thought the YC rooms and lounge were getting a refurb early next year. Not sure if we know if that starts in January, but I’d probably want to steer clear of that.

So… a 9 day stay is pretty long at any CL. Food/offerings are generally on a three day rotation for the main offerings, with the auxiliary/side things nearly the same every day. If you’re planning on relying on all evenings for CL to be your meal, I worry a bit that’s going to get old quick. But if you’re mixing it up with other plans, then no worries.

Trying CL with such a long stay is always a risk, unfortunately. For some the convenience is totally worth it and it makes for a relaxing stay. Others worry about the cost and try to ‘get the most out of what you’re spending’ and may grow tired of the somewhat limited offerings. It’s so personal it’s impossible to predict!

For us, the convenience has always had a ton of value - coffee and breakfast items steps away, no messing around with the the BC quick service, etc. Especially if you’re not being a park commando and are around the resort more often than not. But I also want to be fair and say I haven’t totally enjoyed the quality/types of offerings lately (thinking about evenings mostly when I say this).

That said, we’re mostly all CL enablers around here so unlikely to tell you not to do it! Give it a shot and then you’ll know if CL is a good fit for you down the road.

Have fun!

Yes, I think YC is supposed to get a renovation next year. But @melly57x said she was looking to stay at BC. So the YC refurb shouldn’t be a problem for her.

Speaking of YC… we land in MCO in less than 12 hours! Spending 1 night at YC, then onto 3 nights CR Tower Club! :goodvibes :santa:

Her last sentence says they’re also thinking about YC, just FYI, so that’s what I was replying to with that part.

It was only a DIS rumor about CL closing after the first of the year to start the YC refurb cycle. CL rooms are available on the Calendar in Jan, Feb, and March. Will a room refurb happen in 2025 maybe to likely since the last update was in 2018.

They normally start from the 5th floor and work down from there and yes it would make sense to start the room updates while SAB is down through June.

Enjoy your Christmas visit and pack something warm for the cool evenings. It is officially Winter at WDW and the evenings are going to be chilly through Tuesday and back to the lows in the 60's after that.
