Ah yes the Bison Burger at GP also a favorite of my crew.I pay $23 for the burger at Geyser Point 2-3 times each trip, I wouldn’t pay $32 dollars for that either.

Maryland Style Crab Cakes are $48 at Shula's at the Dolphin, and Shula's has been there a long time.
I think Shula's is more of a destination restaurant for special occasions or for people there for conventions. It also has name recognition from their other locations. I've never eaten there and most likely never will. I don't think the Cake Bake Shop will be a destination for people and therefore I doubt it will last, especially at those prices. Just my opinion and I've been proven wrong many times!!Have you guys checked some of the price's around Crescent Lake lately? Here are some quick examples.
Yachtsman Steakhouse Chocolate cake is $17 for a slice.
Cheeseburger at Ale and Compass is $23.

Recipe for Disaster? Exorbitant Menu Prices, 40% Cake Slice Markups Revealed for The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk
While the exterior of the shop has been on display for years now, the menu hasn’t, and perhaps for good reason. The prices are exorbitant and have come as a shock to many. Not only are the prices out of alignment with what you’d expect from an already-expensive Walt Disney World restaurant experience, but they’re also out of alignment with other Cake Bake Shop locations.
Markups are not uncommon for third-party restaurants, but throwing significant markups on top of the already-high Cake Bake Shop prices at non-Disney venues could be a recipe for disaster.
The Charcuterie board is $10 more expensive than other Cake Bake Shop locations. The Pesto Burrata is $6 more expensive. The quiches are $10 more expensive. The sandwiches are $5-$8 more expensive. Even the peanut butter and jelly off of the children’s menu enjoys a 40% markup at Walt Disney World.
The list goes on and on. Gwendolyn’s Famous Earl’s Court Chocolate Cake will set you back $26 – a more than 50% increase versus her other locations. A lemon bar is $16 at Walt Disney World – nearly double the asking price at other Cake Bake Shop venues. Even Coca-Cola will make you search your wallet for a $10 bill. Insanity. Here’s a look at the two menus for The Cake Bake Shop, one for the restaurant and one for the bakery.
The crazy prices don’t stop at the restaurant, either. Next door at the bakery, cake slices are marked up more than 40% versus other Cake Bake Shop locations.
Disney choosing to go with The Cake Bake Shop concept remains a confusing one, and the prices certainly don’t help at all, but more on that in a separate article.

There is also Carousel Coffee that opens around 6:30am which has some options - it is right off the reception area on the main (2nd) floor. When I was there it opened at 6:30am and closed around 3pm. The Screen Door General Store opened at 8:30am and closed around 11pm (but I think the hours vary).Could someone please tell me if there is a quick service shop location at Boardwalk with a fridge case where I could grab things like some bottles or water, yogurts, and fruit? I know there is a bakery and a pizza windowbut it’s not clear if there is a QS like most of the other hotels have where I can just grab some snacks to throw in our park bag. Thanks!

The Screen Door is what you are looking for. It is on the corner of the Boardwalk and the Boardwalk Green heading toward the Swan / Dolphin. It is there to serve the BWV units. Fresh fruit, Frozen, and chilled items.

You can use this to check (Monthly by date) past year, current, future weather here: https://weather.com/weather/monthly...73a2e9402100aa744d033f2ba709e947d236197290865I will be there the week before President's day in Feb 2025, wondering if people usually swim in Feb at BWV. Thanks
Yes as long as the delivery driver has clearly separated the perishable items so Bell Services knows what needs to be refrigerated. You can pick up your order from BS or they will delivery for a $6 fee added to your resort folio and a tip would be appreciated. My question is regarding grocery delivery. We are not arriving until very late tomorrow night (after midnight). Will the hotel refrigerate perishables until we arrive?
Just changed my reservation for tomorrow to Boardwalk! I've always wanted to stay here and so excited!

Thanks so much!
So @Dave006 gave the correct answer regarding Bell Service storing perishables --Yes as long as the delivery driver has clearly separated the perishable items so Bell Services knows what needs to be refrigerated. That's what I am thinking, too!So @Dave006 gave the correct answer regarding Bell Service storing perishables --
But OP is arriving on Friday 10/11, which is shortly after Hurricane Milton. I wonder how the Hurricane will impact the purchase and delivery of groceries (not the storage of them). Will stores be out of stock on some items? Will Instacart have fewer drivers because local people are dealing with their own post-Hurricane issues? Will any roads be closed?
I am not sure why it is surprising that there is a huge difference between prices at this location and the other sites. There is a huge cost to being located at Disney. This cost has to be passed on to the consumer. I will wait to see if it is worth it.Blog Mickey also discussing pricing at CBS…

I totally get the "disney tax" added but to charge so much more for Soda like Coke and Sprite is absurd.I am not sure why it is surprising that there is a huge difference between prices at this location and the other sites. We're having the same discussion in the Cake Bake thread. There will be large families taking up multiple seats just to split one tiny order, just like what they did to BOG in the earlier days. Hopefully these people will also order one or two sodas to share between six to eight family members. The restaurant can't survive if they're charging regular rates.I totally get the "disney tax" added but to charge so much more for Soda like Coke and Sprite is absurd.
