Disneyland 70th speculations and news

I'll be curious to see what they say!
I got a reply which isn't helpful to me. My phone plan doesn't have international calls so I can't make the phone call.
here was their response.

Thank you for contacting the Disneyland Resort in Southern California! We appreciate your reaching out to us about your upcoming visit.

Unfortunately, we're unable to assist with your request using our general email service.

To ensure that all of your pre-arrival questions are being accurately and effectively answered, we would recommend placing a call to our Theme Park Experience Services team. That way, a Cast Member can review your request and answer any additional questions you may have in real-time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our Theme Park Experience Services team contact number is (714) 781-4636. A Cast Member will be happy to assist you seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.

I believe you'll be able to get a different dinner. I did a recent parade package and didn't want the beef option, which was the only option advertised. It did say plant based meals available, but I asked for chicken. The cashier said yes I can get chicken and the receipt printed out like that. It was a non issue and seemed like a very common request.

Enough people want to know. Maybe submit a question to Plan Disney.

Wow, that's very unhelpful! Usually they answer queries like that over email.

It says to call, I can't from Australia.
PlanDisney is the company's panel of volunteer Disney fans. You can ask questions online:

https://plandisney.disney.go.com/

Whether they will know the answer to your question is uncertain. Unpublished options for dining parties may indeed be something that only Disneyland CMs can find out. But it's worth a try.

Curious to see what they do on July 4th if they show PTN on an adjusted schedule. The crowds overall on the 4th aren't crazy, but Main Street and the hub gets insane just for the 2 hours or so around the special fireworks.

Unrelated to July 4th, I will be interested in feedback about the best way to get a spot for the first show with little kids. I liked PTN at DCA in 2018 because that park is a lot easier to find parade viewing closer to start time. Such a long parade route.

I want to know too so I’m hold with them now :) The CM was going to check with someone.

Edit: they have great hold music 🎵 currently playing Queen

Final update: well that did not yield any useful information. The CM was very nice but isn’t able to see any more information than us at this time. She said that Food and Beverage likely hasn’t finalized the plant based options and that they would know closer to the date the packages start.

Personally I’m not going until the end of June so I plan to book and then will cancel if they are weirdly rigid about allowing substitutions. The CM confirmed you can cancel up to 24 hours ahead of time. But that’s not helpful for anyone who will be going the first couple of days before the reviews come out.

thank you I appreciate it.
I don't think i'll book.

Have the reservations for the dining package for PTN been available to anyone? I tried at 6 am PST on both my laptop and my phone (the app) to no avail. I'm trying to get May 30 for a large group (11), but the date is not available (the dining package does not even appear to be an option for even 2 people on May 24). When they did the package for MSEP, I was able to book it at 6 the morning they released it.

I got up for this reservation, too, and it hasn't shown up yet. The website says bookings start on the 25th, so it should be there. Hopefully soon.

What the heck, Disney?!? Now the dining package website for Plaza Inn is talking about their Mother's Day Brunch without any mention of PTN.

"Coming Soon to Plaza Inn! On May 10 and May 11, 2025, indulge your mom with a glorious, all-you-care-to-enjoy Mother’s Day brunch—and encounter some beloved Disney Characters!"

Did Disney rethink the dining package and decide to pull it?

It is on the website above the Mothers Day info. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/dining/disneyland/plaza-inn/

It is also on the app.

It's still scrubbed from the dining package page, which I find odd. I wonder if it's a glitch when they tried to change the page to add a reservation button.

Might wanna be prepared for some security related changes. There was a pursuit overnight in the Pixar Pals parking structure.
The pursuit wasn't really in the structure. It was on the streets. They pulled into the structure and couldn't get anywhere so abandoned their car and took off on foot. If you are familiar with the structure, the car was left in the caged in area before the booths. https://abc7.com/post/high-speed-police-chase-ends-disneyland-parking-structure-anaheim/16079719.

Has anyone heard if Paint the Night will run nightly through out the year or only on weekends during off peak times

Everything opened back up shortly after and is working fine now. They handle it similar to jumper situations, sadly happens every couple years (and why you see foot patrols on each corner of levels besides cameras.)

Structure closed access for brief time and reopened.
