In all my trips to WDW I've never....

I've been going down for a long time and try to do new things each time, but there is still things I haven't done.
I refuse to do the following: Mission Space...

I did it when it was new and there was only one version. BIG mistake! I thought, 'how bad can it be?' It is the only ride that ever gave me a panic attack.

Even though I knew it is a ride, the visuals and motion of the ride kept telling me that I was actually blasting off into space :lmao: I can't even describe how scary it was. I will never do it again! Not even the easy version!

ps my friend's husband did it and when he came out he actually laid down on the ground because he was so freaked out.

Looking over everyone's lists had me thinking that I've done everything!

But after a little more thought, I realized that there are a few things I haven't done.

American Idol (to be honest, we've only been to DHS once since that show was created and, not being big AI fans, we skipped it on our last visit). We HAD been to the old Superstar Television show that used to be in that theater. Does that count?

I've also never seen the British Invasion show at UK in EPCOT. I tried to convince the family to go several times, but they just weren't interested.

Other than eating at some restaurants (and I have no strong desire to eat at those places), I can't really think of any others. Of course, I've been going for almost 40 years (and grew up close to WDW), so that's afforded me plenty of opportunity to check everything off the "bucket list."

Hmmmm....

Rope Drop
Country Bear Jamboree
river boat
Barnstormer
Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid (not open on last visit)
Hall of Presidents
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor (on my list)
Turtle Talk with Crush (on my list)
Captain Eo
The American Adventure
Pumba & Timone's Environmental Fable video
American Idol Experience
drawing class @ HS
video in One Man's Dream
Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid shows
FoTLK or Finding Nemo shows (but they're on my list!)

Too bad we arent reading this like a drinking game, Id be hammered by now ; )

Not too many for me but came up with a few...
Never have I ever ridden Astro Orbitor - heights and circles, no thank you
Never have I ever stayed above a value resort - I think about it every time but am just too cheap to justify twice the price (or god forbid more)
Never have I ever ridden Mission space - and nor will I ever. It sounds horrible.
Never have I ever done a rope drop - this is vacation and no way am I getting up that early
Never have I ever ridden Expedition Everest - I've either been pregnant or had a little one with me so I couldn't go, planning on January for sure though

I've only been twice, but here are the things I've never done that I hope to do at some point :)

Non park things
- Stay at every resort! We are slowly working our way through this :)
- Bowl at Splitsville
- See a movie at the DTD AMC
- See La Nouba at DTD
- Eat everything on my Disney Food Bucket List... which is LONG :rotfl:

We have never done the environmental fable in the Land pavilion. Is it any good?

I love all the rides everyone moans about (CoP, Ellen, tiki etc.) and I HATE the circle of life film it's so poorly narrated and was dated even when it was new. Sorry

I am hoping to cut this list down substantially this trip, but here goes....

Enchanted Tales with Belle (no interest)
Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
American Idol (don't care to do this one)
Astro orbiter
Tea cups (hate spinning, will never do that one)
Magic Carpets
Flight of Wonder
Nemo musical
Triceratops Spin
Turtle Talk with Crush
None of the shows in the countries

One thing per park:
1. Eaten at the Plaza Restaurant at the MK
2. Gone on Tower of Terror
3. Eaten in Italy (am not a fan of pizza or pasta)
4. Gone on Kali River Rapids, as I don't like getting wet in the Parks

But see my signature for one of the most awesome things I've ever done.

I've never seen fireworks at a park.

This past trip we made it to Fantasmic, but between my DH and my young daughters, we just can't stay up late enough (not just for the fireworks, but for the bus ride back to the resort).

We've never done the Haunted Mansion and never eaten school bread. Considering we tallied up almost 100 days spent in WDW thus far, it's pretty shocking that those two remain unchecked

I thought of another one... pretty significant too.

I've never attended a hard ticket event... not MNSSHP or MVMCP or anything like that.

I have never:

ridden Magic Carpets
had a dole whip
eaten at Tony's
Enchanted Tales (but this is relatively new & hope to go in February)
Stayed at a Moderate
eaten at Sci - Fi
Tea at the Grand Floridian
Had Tonga Toast
Taken a specialty cruise for Fireworks or Illumniations but really want to some day
Gone to MNSSHP
seen the newer version of Playhouse Disney
played mini golf

The list is longer than I thought it would be considering I have gone at least once a year since 1971. More reasons for me to go back!!

Nothing wrong with those rides. I love riding the boat ride at the Land pavilion. Anyone remember the Kitchen Kabaret? I realize that Soarin' is a much better choice but I still miss the singing foods.

Here's my list:

Sounds Dangerous (it's never open when we are there - is it EVER anymore?)
Been to Starring Roles (I know...)
Met Gaston
Stayed offsite (a Disney trip for us means being at Disney!)
Surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon
Eaten at any of the Grand Floridian restaurants
Rode the monorail over FutureWorld
Been in the Body Wars building (the one next to Ellen)
Had a Grey Goose slushie
Illuminations cruise
Parasailed at the Contemporary
Fishing excursion (although my son asks every year!)
Jellyrolls and Dueling Pianos
Akershus or 1900 Park Fare character meals
Eaten a Mickey waffle

Hoping to get at least half of these checked off in December!

Astro orbitor (NO desire lol)
Haven't spent a lot of time in World Showcase countries. We go way to fast for some reason :confused3
Stitch but did do the Alien ride when it was there
Disney Quest

I've been to disney since the early 90's (born in 87) probably around 10 times or so total. Feels like a lot more.

And I will always be upset I never went on 20,000 leagues. (It was always down)

PS I'm sure there's a lot of those off the beaten path things I've missed.

That's still there? I thought they closed that?

I know I've done it but I don't remember details so it can't be good lol.

Experience is everything though. Good or bad. ;)

Probably been to Disney 60+ times since 1972 and I'm pretty sure that I've never been on:

Astro Orbiters
Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride
Stayed for the Norway movie after Maelstrom
The stuff in Innoventions/Communicore/whatever they call it now. It's just a shortcut for me
American Idol
