    Black Friday, 2015

Target won't show-up until maybe, the second week in November. Thinking since "Black Friday Proper" for last year was a dud (since all the retail action happened in the later hours of Thanksgiving Day), there may be some work to do...

    Pay as you go phone

I live on the fringes of a major midwestern city, and I keep a TracFone (simple flip phone) as a spare -- works flawlessly on the AT&T network, though your coverage/towers may vary, depending-upon where you live...

CVS to buy Target Pharmacy business + operate in stores

According to what I read, the red, color-coded pill bottles belong specifically to Target, and were not included in the sale to CVS.

CVS to buy Target Pharmacy business + operate in stores

Yes, and No -- Current Target pharmacists will have to re-apply for their job through CVS, while the Team Member running the Pharmacy register will be shifted to other in-store duties...

CVS to buy Target Pharmacy business + operate in stores

Yes, in fact, when CVS made their announcement, they specifically said they would enter a handful of other states in the Rockies/Pacific Northwest for the very first time...

What's the best pre-paid currency card to have ???

Internet "reviews" are generally negative (you don't type unless you have something to gripe-about) -- that said, I've had Bluebird for about 2 years and it works just fine for me...everywhere that accepts AmEx.

    No Contract Cell Phone

If Verizon works where you live, so will Page Plus. Page Plus refill cards, etc. aren't as widely-available as others (Walgreens comes to mind as one of the few places selling PP), but as Page Plus was recently purchased by Tracfone, I expect to see them in a lot more stores.

    No Contract Cell Phone

Straight Talk phones sold in the green box mostly run on Verizon (all ST iPhones use the VZ network). If you install the SIM card, it will either work on AT&T or T-Mobile's networks (depending on what's marketed to where you live).

    No Contract Cell Phone

Absolutely, and 5 years later, I've pocketed a lot of $$$ and never looked-back. As long as you connect to Wi-Fi at home (and don't stream Netflix/Pandora when you are out and about), this should not be an issue. Good Luck!

Have you successfully changed to Straight Talk and kept your number?

I've been with both Tracfone and Net10 (both are sister brands to ST), and never had any problems porting my number in or out. When it comes to the Tracfone family of brands, I've found the BEST way to resolve an issue is to submit a "Support Ticket Request" from the TF/Net10/ST Facebook pages...

    Roku question

While Roku (and Apple TV, Google Chromecast, etc.) is a good "internet streamer", if you have a newer Blu-ray Disc player, you likely have all the same apps available as on the other devices. Plus, you have one box - to play your Blu-ray/DVD collection and to stream your favorites...

    Sprint or T-mobile

I'm a prepaid guy, because that's the BUDGET way to go. That said, check with friends and neighbors where you live to see what T-Mobile is giving them in terms of a good signal, etc., as you can't rely on what a person from Hackensack, NJ says (unless you also live in Hackensack, NJ).

    Pay As You go Cellphones

Tracfone's 1 year plan will probably work best because you don't have to deal with a monthly bill or top-up, plus unlike the other carriers mentioned in this thread, you can buy Tracfone refill cards in all denominations at major retailers/c-stores, everywhere. A good LG flip phone with 3G...

Help! My luck ran out - have a dud Disney gift card from Target online :(

That's what happens when Target "went cheap" and pink-slipped 1,000 workers at their Minneapolis HQ in 2009, and did it again, this year and cut another 475 jobs in response to low 2013 holiday sales because of the data breach. All of those lost jobs are now in their corporate campus in India...

Kroger 4x Fuel Points back tomorrow

Just to let everyone know, if you have Kroger's smaller-format, "Aldi-esque" Ruler Foods in your town (they are opening stores in the St. Louis area, some 28 years after Kroger left), you can have the cashier scan your Kroger Plus card (or any loyalty card from the Kroger family of stores) and...

    Verizon Prepaid Accounts

Verizon Prepaid/Roaming is NOT a big issue unless you frequently pass-through... The I-65 corridor from the TN/KY state line, to just north of Fort Knox (passing-through the cities of Bowling Green and Elizabethtown, KY) Parts of Wisconsin Parts of Oklahoma Reason being is that VZ does...

Is this TV good enough for video games to be played on

The hz isn't that much of a game-changer, unless: You are using a Blu-ray Disc player You play games on the Xbox 360/One, PlayStation 3/4, or the Wii U If you are planning to watch programming provided by your cable/telecom/satellite company, only...60 hz is fine, as that's what the Pay...

Best mobile hotspot for the price?

Picked this one up before I went on vacation, this summer -- worked GREAT, and as it works everywhere Sprint has towers, you should have no problems at WDW with it...
