I didn't say that. People will make FPP's 70 days out because they are staying 10 days. They might start cancelling ADR's at this time. So OP should start looking 70 days from her first day for ADR's she can't find.

You are wrong. You get a 10-day grace period for FPP just as you get for ADR's. On the 60th day before you arrive you can make FPP's for that day plus up to the next 10 days even though those days are more than 60 days out. That is why I told OP to start looking 70 days out. Someone staying...

IMHO, yes, one trip to the castle is worth it. I have done it twice, but both times both of my kids were 6 and under. I don't know what I would do in your situation. DS14 and DD9 don't like princesses anymore. Beast only appears at dinner.

Based on your plan that day, I would do Park Faire. I wouldn't want to travel to a resort that is so far away for dinner on my first day (although you are on the monorail so I would go to the Poly or Contemporary since they are so close).

I would keep BOG. CRT is a must-do once so you can see the castle, but unless you really want to see the princesses, I would pass. The food is better at BOG, you can take a picture with the beast and it is much cheaper.

We are doing BOG lunch on one day of our upcoming trip. We have DDP. Would you use snack credits on the cupcakes at BOG or go over to Big Top for Dessert? I don't remember the cupcakes at BOG being that good last time we were there a couple of years ago.

Also, people load up on ADR's and hold them until they make their FPP's. So around 70 days from the start of your trip (since 60 day +10 applies to FPP's) people will finalize their plans and (slowly) start cancelling ADR's. It may not happen immediately. I have made numerous trips to WDW...
