That will probably come eventually. Disney isn't great with websites as you know. The picture would only show a CGI image of the band. The colors are all the same. I don't think it's a top priority for them.

My destination D bands shows as a 2.0 in the magicbands and card section but my new ap 2.0 doesn't. I suspect they will change all the artwork really quick once they are going to everyone.

I have a check in date of 1/17 and received the old bands. No reports of new bands on our January group yet except those with AP bands.

Oh, ok. I am not loving the new design of these. Since I will be wearing a lanyard to the parks next year anyways, I was planning on using that and a Mickey head to hold the detachable puck of it. If I am able to do so.

Update: I also purchased the new 45th anniversary MB for my girlfriend. She went to the park yesterday and used it, it flashed a rainbow color at arrival but she said she couldn't hear anything different. Anyone know if it makes a different sound? I think it's so cool every band does something different.

I was told the rainbow color was attached to those with DVC memberships because mine did the same thing.

I purchased the new 2.0 in the purple color of my recent trip. I found it incredibly comfortable to wear and had no issues using it whatsoever.

If anyone has one of the new bands yet, do you think the wraps that I ordered from Fantasy Bands will fit on them? I put them in all the kids stockings for our trip arriving Jan 24th. Because we're Canadian and our bands will be waiting on check in, I'm assuming they'll be the new ones.

Don't discount them yet. I purchased one of the 2 new ones available and actually found it comfortable to wear and easier to use.

I purchased a new one and I am pretty sure they will fit. They didn't change the band itself just the "head" part and from what I understand the wraps only go on the band portion. However, the older styles will be available for purchase should you choose to do that.

If you remove the outer to make it smaller, it is wider than the original. The band is also changed, not in width but it's thinner as there is no longer an antenna in middle.

Right, but the way these wraps work is they slide over the band portion and leave the middle out of it.

people who sells wraps have started to put out 2.0 versions of them so I don't think it's exact but it's pretty close that an old band wrap probably wouldn't look too out of place.

That is pretty interesting because we aren't DVC members so that is odd. It must just be a feature of the special edition band.

Yeah, I kinda thought she was bonkers too, BUT my husband's went rainbow too and he didn't have the new band.
