Husband is convinced that we have been priced out of Disney and staying on property...I believe its just the cost of Disney these days. Can you please just share how many days and where you are staying.
I know there used to be a thread like this but the prices and trips are from 2012...would like to get some more recent trip cost.

THANKS EVERYONE :)

$4314 - seven nights at CBR Standard view room. Two adults. One child. One infant. Basic dining. 5 day park hoppers.

I believe we are at 3200. That's 4 nights at CBR, 3 day park tickets, and the dining plan with one QS meal and one TS meal per night. We have 2 adults and 3 children and 1 infant.

We're also going over Christmas, which I know is a more expensive time in general.

Summer at Pop Century - 6 nights, park hoppers, OOP for food, driving from MA, 2 adults. About $2000, tops. We bring a lot of food in the car, don't eat very much anyways, etc.

$3962- 10 days, 9 nights at CBR, 8 day park hopper tickets with memory maker and free dining promo. Me, DH, DS and DD (both 4).

but of course there are additional expenses- tips, airfare, souvenirs, rental car, etc to add in if necessary.

$2300 for 3 nights ASMu, with free QS dining upgraded to DDP and 4x 3-day park hoppers. 2 adults, 2 children.

We stayed on property 22 nites in 2016.. unless I want to give my dh a reason to think I'm insane or give him a reason to start a Disney intervention... I'd better not post the actual cost.:rolleyes1
But the cost varied according to the separate trips... most were mods with only 2 deluxe, and 1 awesome dvc stay.

Generally speaking I think it's been comparable to any other vacation we take elsewhere... it always seems to hover about $2500-6k.
But I will say that the Disney "deluxe" compared to other deluxe vacation places are vastly different, not in a good way. My Disney addiction is costly pirate:

We come from England so we stay for longer, usually 16-17 days including Christmas but not New Year. We rent DVC points and have AKL and OKW booked this year. Including flights from Manchester to MCO and 21 day ultimate park hopper ticket, no dining plan though. Three adults, one child it's about £10,000 or so (I'm too scared to work it out properly :worried:)

DS12 & I have 14 nights coming up in December. 1 night at Poly & then 13 at AKL. I'm a DVC member, so officially I don't pay for the rooms. But, technically the value of the points I used was almost exactly $4000. Not to bad considering cash reservations for those rooms/dates would've cost me just shy of $8200.

On top of that there's about $730 in transportation costs. $1553 for 2 platinum plus APs. I've spent $1300 already reserving dessert parties, tours & premium dining experiences. Plus I expect it'll be another $2000-2200 for the rest of our dining costs.

And then far far far more on merch & souvenirs than most sane people would ever consider spending.

$7200 for a December 10-night package at the Cabins at FW and "free" dining DDP and 10-day PHs for two real adults, one Disney adult, two kids, and one free toddler.
BUT
Also $350 for EMM at MK, $350 for EMM at DHS, $200 (includes tax and tip) for Garden Grill breakfast with Candlelight Processional package (I don't want to use two TS credits for it), $500 for MVMCP, and $250 for Pirates & Pals. Oh, and $500 for tips et al on our TS meals and $500 for a golf cart to get around FW. (Again, on all the extras, that's for five admissions, as the toddler is free.)
So more like $10,000 really. $1000/night. Geez.
I know other people won't do as many up-sell extras, but I think they have made so many parties and special events that it would be hard for a family not to be drawn into at least one. I am telling my friends to look at their package and add 10-20% for the Special Stuff.

We are DVC members as well. We pay $2500 for dues per year. This year we have:
6 nights in a studio between Christmas and New Years
7 nights in a two bedroom unit the first week of the year
4 nights in a two bedroom over Columbus Day weekend.

We spent about $1650 for annual passes, so excluding food and dvc buy in, we are paying about 4200 for 17 nights at Disney, and having my parents and family friends join us too.

I have got to be doing something wrong....every time I price our trips...I end up at least at $4500 to $5000! I am including the regular dining plan when calculating even though we have NEVER gone when we've paid for it...Maybe I need someone to plan for me?

You have 5 people - that's a budget breaker for onsite budget accomodations...and if you have a child 10 or over, that's a budget breaker for dining plans...

Our February trip will be 4 Disney adults. We are going for 6 nights/7 days with 7 day base tickets. We are staying at Fort Wilderness Campgrounds in our trailer. Tickets and the campsite are $2085. We have $1200 budgeted for food which is 8 QS meals and 4 TS meals. Then we have expenses for travel and souvenirs. I have our total budgeted at $4900 for everything.

I'd say with B2B cruises (3n/4n), port transfers, pre cruise hotel, prepaid gratuity, 5 nights at a moderate plus Deluxe dining, 4 day Park hoppers for 2adults and 1 10 year old

We're paying around 8-9k or so? 6k+ for the cruise portion, 2k for our WDW portion.

Not including airfare which is probably another 1300

Budgeting about $2k for spending/gratuities.

I have never been to disneyworld, but I know the cost can be ridiculous. we are planning a trip for 2018 and my guesstimate just for flight, moderate hotel (no way am I paying for a family suite in a value. we're looking at Port orleans riverside) and 5 or 6 day single park tickets is for 5 people is 5000. That does not include food, suvinors/shopping, other random things. I'll guesstimate another 2-3000 for that. We are coming from California so driving is not an option. this will be the most expensive vacation we've ever been on and a huge reason why it's taking a few years to plan and save for.

How old are your kids? Where are you planning on staying? How much do your kids eat, is it worth the dining plan? It wasn't when my kids were small.

I agree... with littl in s I think the dining plan is a waste (food and time) ... now if it's free, that d be okay, lol

Enjoy ur visits everyone!

We are a family of 4 and my kids are 5 and 3. We were booked for 7 nights with 6 day non hopping passes at POFQ for $3200. We were very lucky to be upgraded to AKL for only $300 more. Our trip was $6500 with everything. This includes a day at seaworld, with a car service to take us, and purchasing the dolphin encounter.

We both opened venture capital one cards for the signup bonus which saved us $1000 in airfare. My kids are also little and share a kids meal, which saved us money when not eating at a buffet. We spent $1000 in food while staying at Disney and that included 3 character meals and ohana dinner. We did not get the dining plan.

May I ask if the 6 of you are going to be in one room? I'm considering a trip next year and #4 will be one y/o...
