I live in South Carolina and I don't feel like we had much of a winter at all!!!
Ha! The bugs are not fun, thats for sure. I can handle them though, my husband... not so much! The weather would be nice but the thing that keeps me from moving down South is the bugs. Big ones. I can deal with mosquitoes or flies but those Palmetto bugs I keep hearing about? Nope nope nope...up here in the frozen North, the 6 months of winter really keeps the populations in check and the bugs small.

Oh yeah, those are nasty! The first trip we made to WDW was 8 years ago this September. We drove, which was not bad, until we hit the love bugs! They are disgusting and they were everywhere!!! I really DON'T like love bugs, lol.
My sister in law lives in Florida and she always finds snakes in her pool! The weather would be nice but the thing that keeps me from moving down South is the bugs. Big ones. Oh my gosh!!!! Like little garden snakes? Those wouldn't be so bad. Or are they the dangerous kind? I think I'd honestly prefer snakes to big bugs, though. We have June bugs up here and those are bad enough. My sister in law lives in Florida and she always finds snakes in her pool!
YES! Its been a while since we had enough snow to actually make a snow ball. I really like to "see" the snow but don't want it all the time!I will mail you some snow balls
Heck no. Count me OUT. I am terrified of snakes!!! I can't even look at them on tv!Oh my gosh!!!! Like little garden snakes? Those wouldn't be so bad. Or are they the dangerous kind? I think I'd honestly prefer snakes to big bugs, though. We have June bugs up here and those are bad enough.
Once she had a water moccasin! I would have freaked out but her husband is a vet and they just got it out themselves.Oh my gosh!!!! Like little garden snakes? Those wouldn't be so bad. My kids are always on the lookout for alligators but we haven't seen one yet! That first trip we had love bugs, alligators as we traveled from SOG to the Poly, as huge black snake in the road that ended up getting hit by a bus and the most wonderful time in the world!!!!
I know I wouldn't have gone near it! My sister in law volunteers for a horse rescue in Florida and isn't scared of anything.. They're brave!!! I would have left and called someone, lol. Not sure who though!

I'd love for them to see one, but the no fence makes me nervous!Every day, and night, they were in the water by the path between the Poly and SOG. Some of the area didn't have a fence either.
She loves all animals! She's sounds amazing!!!
