so im about 50 days out, found my reservation number and all days are showing nothing availabe. am i out of luck on getting a fp+ for the dining?

I had the same problem but figured out what was causing mine not to show: I had ADBLOCK on my computer which block all of the info. I had to open up adblock while at My Disney Experience and "OK" the sight in order to follow the listed step by step instructions on finding the number. Hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say, but I hope if this is the case for you, this will work.
 
That would be fantastic, Andre!! This thread is constantly full of people asking the same questions over and over again. I know its been suggested a few times that the OP make the first post an FAQ, but your suggestion would be even better!!

Sorry, I meant neither way to get my reservation number worked for me. I have a Disney res# with letters. I paid off my balance so the 2nd method just keeps saving updating info. Is there a 3rd method to get the 12 digit #?

Go to MDE > My Reservations and Tickets, then click on "Check In Online" link (located under your res#) and look at the URL. There should be the 12-digit number starting with 4.
 


I am 26 days out and when I plug in my info it says "guest is already registered" and will not let me proceed any further :/
Anyone else?
 
Has anyone who made a fp+ for BOG but not been able to view it in their account on the BOG site had trouble when you showed up at the restaurant? I know it doesn't show up in MDE.

I received 2 BOG invite emails (I have 3 hotel reservations for August) and used the link in the email to access the site. I did not receive a confirmation and can not view my reservation on the BOG FP+ site. The option to View View details about your FastPass+ arrival window and meal selection is grayed out. I have read several times that the fp is there even though you can't see it but a conversation with a tech CM has me wondering if that is accurate.

I called tech support and the tech CM said nobody has access to the BOG site so they can not look to see if a fp+ was actually reserved, only the restaurant itself has access to that info.

The CM also said that they are aware that the BOG site is glitchy and for the past few days fp+'s have not been sticking in the system and suggested making another reservation then screenshot it. The CM also suggested going straight to BOG or the resort concierge upon arrival to see if they could verify that a fp was made. A few more minutes later into the same conversation he said the fp+ is probably buried somewhere in the MDE. The conversation ended by me saying to him, "So to sum up, the fp+ never stuck in the system or it's buried somewhere in MDE?" His response was yes. :confused3

So what I'm wondering is if you never received a confirmation or were not able to view your fp on your BOG FP+ site account, were you actually in the system as having a fp when you showed up at the restaurant?
 
How aggressive do I need to be about making BOG FPs? Do I need to get online at midnight? I'm able to make FPs today for 2 days before the actual day I want it for, so I'm assuming I should be able to make FPs for Friday aug 29th on Friday, right?

It's a hidden gem, you could probably even book something on the morning of your visit. So no, don't dress about booking the moment the date is released.

By my calculations, the reservations for the 28th should open on Friday. I am also trying for Aug 28th. Today (Wed), I can only make reservations through the 26th, so two more days.
 
I am totally annoyed that I can't book a FP beyond the first 7 days of our trip (we're there 10 nights total but are devoting the early part of the trip to AK/EC/HS and have the ADRs and FPs already booked). Why would they have a policy in place that discourages long stays?? :sad2: Preparing for our trip has certainly felt a lot less 'magical' this time around.

I'm going the same time and you should be able to book for that Tuesday today. That would make the 29th be available on Saturday.

maddiebee, if you are able to see the 2 days before the actual day you want it for, log in and look at those 2 dates to see if/and what is available. You don't have to book, just cancel or log off and even if you do accidentally book, when you go on for your August 29th day, it will still let you replace the original booking for the booking that you really want.

That should give you an idea if the time frame you are looking for is available for one of those dates and it lets you get a good feel for the system:thumbsup2
