Chapter 11 – MNSSHP (Parade - Part 1)



So when I last posted, I left you contemplating the possibility that I was able to get a second Headless Horseman photo, and if there was any chance it could possibly be any better. Well, I think we will hold off on the answer to that for a little while longer while I focus on the parade itself.

I now present…………

There were so many characters in this parade. We start with Heroes………

No Disney parade would be complete without an appearance from the character that started it all.

I had to get some pictures for Ms. Kathy.

And the character Rosie made blush............

Okay, can anyone besides me see the appeal of a Pirate's Life???

Probably one of my favorite parades. Having it only happen seaonally helps bump it up on the list, as does only happen during the MNSSHP.

And the character Rosie made blush............

We want the redhead!!!! Oh wait she is not a redhead.

I am a little concerned about that pirate in the back poking his eye out.

so your saying another three months for the second headless horseman pic? wow doing anything you can to keep us around...at least try and finish this report up before i go again in august, i dont know if i can keep up with this fast writers pace as well as write a report of my own.

Perhaps I should be sure to reach the top of the page more often (although it still took you several days after the fact to get it up.

What wonderful Parade pictures. Your colors are so vibrant. And aren't you just a sweetie for getting close-up pictures of Tigger for me.

Chapter 12 – MNSSHP (Parade - Part 2)



Continuing on with the parade..........

The Grave Diggers

Out of the whole parade, I loved these guys and they are definitely one of the most memorable parts. As they walk down the street, they turn and dance in step, and part of their routine is to drag the shovels on the pavement, making sparks. It is really cool the way they do it.

But they are also memorable for one other reason, at least in this parade. One of them was very close to our side of the street and as he scraped his shovel on the pavement, he quickly turned around right in Magdalene's face and hissed........HELP US! Catching her by surprise, she pulled back and let out a squeal, and then started to laugh that he had frightened her. Yeah, some big tough German judge she turned out to be. I know I'm not fooled anymore........lol

And of course no Disney Halloween parade would be complete without, the Villains

Of course, the parade wouldn't be complete without some Disney advertising. Candy anyone???
