Actually, I am stick working on our itinerary! But no, not directly. Thinking a week in Spain, a week kn Italy, then maybe Germany to stop off for 2 weeks w family. Then touring Europe some more!!!

I'm from Houston, so l won't need any accommodations. I will drive down to Galveston, Sat morning and get dropped off. I read about the Friday night event, so I might plan to come in on Friday, not sure yet.

That certainly helps, doesn't it?!? In November my parents drove from east Texas to the port, so they picked up my daughter and I at Hobby. Nice to plan on Dad to pick me up at the airport. Just too bad the 7 night cruise is his limit for being away from home - couldn't talk them into the transatlantic.

BTW - I taught in Brenham a few years and my college roommate lives in Houston, so I still try to get there. I'm in the DFW area now.

I have read the first two pages and I need to get started signing up on a few things. I have a lot of questions, but I can ask as I get to them. Can someone explain FEs to me or send me to a location to read more! Thanks again.

What is everyone doing in Barcelona?

We are spending a few days there before moving on. Mother-in-law is with us so we will hopefully repeat the big sights as it is her first time there. It's a beautiful city with a great metro. Used it with our kids last time - oldest had just turned 5 - no problems at all.

I had wondered the same thing! On our WBTA we literally had a couple moving back home from their jobs overseas. Everything was shipped about 2-3 days before they headed to Barcelona.

Have you looked at other cruises after EBTA? NCL has a neat itinerary that is 12 nights including France, Italy, Greece, and Turkey that departs on June 4. Then you can take the train from Venice to Germany. Just a thought if you don't want to be hauling your luggage from place to place.

Who is traveling with kids around the age of 4? My daughter is friendly and loved to play.

Our daughter just turned 5 in January, so she's pretty close. We took our first cruise on DCL (the Fantasy) last September. Our daughter loved the kid's clubs - so much so that I felt bad a few times taking her out to go to bed!

On our TA crossing from Southampton to NYC on the NCL Epic in 2010, there were quite a few Military families on board moving back to the states using the 7 night voyage as vacation and transportation.

We're at the Towne Place Suites (HIA) the night before, and we have Disney transfers, and are supposed to be at Terminal A baggage claim at 10 AM.
