You cannot attend the princess tea without a child, you will have to accompany the child to the event, with the parent of course dde00

Oooh I had nearly forgotten about this! I'm so excited! Thanks so much for the invitation again :)

ABOUT DOOR MAGNETS...use extra strong ones...The Magic's doors have been painted SO many times that the metal is very well protected, and the magnets fly off every time the door closes. We had flying mickeys every single time! Lost many of them :(

After a horrible experience with Avery, we found Staples brand to be far superior on the Wonder (which probably has had as many paint jobs as the Magic).

Awww man.... that's right. Mine was moving it over. My parents was $300 for new ressie with just two adults.

I think the dentist drilled into my brain this morning instead of just my teeth :rotfl2:

OUCH!

I called DCL this morning re extension cords on this site

Can bring an extension cord for medical advice. Must bring it in carry-on bag and take it to guest services. Then the chief electrician (or was it engineer?) must verify it can be used.

Otherwise you can get an extension cord from guest services with a $50 refundable deposit. Nothing to denote on reservation to guarantee you have one waiting.

We have a C-pap user in our cabin. Have always taken power strip and my hair dryer on the 12 cruises we have been on. Until last year i have always brought a travel iron, now i'm lazy and send husbands shirt out to be pressed. Why are things changing now?

I got added to the waitlist today. FINALLY after speaking to 3 people. They couldn't tell me when we would find out either. It should not be this difficult or require so many followups but hopefully we get it worked out. I tried for 3 nights and will decide once they clear depending on any airfare changes.

I am glad you were able to get on the list, it is so frustrating when you hear others would be able to then they tell you there is not one. :confused3

Hi,

This is our first Disney Cruise and my first post on a forum. My DD (4) and I are excited. Well she will be excited once I tell her.

Welcome :)

Aww when are you planning to tell her? A surprise is pretty awesome :)

That's me - ten cruises and never thought twice about an extension cord for my CPAP machine. I am wondering if things have been recently added to that list here - I am a type A personality rule follower :rotfl2: but also missed "balloon" prior to our November cruise. We had balloons in our stateroom on a different cruise when we returned from getting married - so like you said, things seem to change (and we did marry on a different cruiseline - which does allow extension cords when I called them to verify the other day)

Sounds like what we were all going through last summer when we were getting the conflicting answers from DCL regarding bus transportation from Hobby.

Hi,

Welcome aboard!! :cheer2: She will be super excited!! My girls were 15 months and just turned 5 on their first - which was the transatlantic as well. :thumbsup2

Be sure to read the first two pages of events of this thread and get signed up for everything that intrigues you! The DIS events were the "icing on the cake" on last transatlantic -- just some extra added fun and new friends!

Do you already have transportation and pre-cruise hotel sorted? That's been the biggest logistical challenge over time - but most people are staying either right around IAH, HOU, or in Galveston (we have a group rate at a hotel in Galveston in the Strand area.)

Thanks!

I'm from Houston, so l won't need any accommodations. I will drive down to Galveston, Sat morning and get dropped off. I read about the Friday night event, so I might plan to come in on Friday, not sure yet.

I have read the first two pages and I need to get started signing up on a few things. I have a lot of questions, but I can ask as I get to them. Can someone explain FEs to me or send me to a location to read more! Thanks again.

So, I have to have 10 post before I can PM people about events, here I go!

I would love to join the Palo Brunch. As soon as I have 10 post, I will PM the correct person.

Who is traveling with kids around the age of 4? My daughter is friendly and loved to play.
